Logan's death and funeral is some of the most devastating scenes ever put on film. After 17 years, we really grew to love Wolverine and he dies in a horrible, painful, bloody mess... right in front of his daughter too. It is beautifully poetic since Yukio practically predicted his death. But I think there's even more to it. From the beginning Wolverine has basically had to BABYSIT everyone in every movie he's featured in. From Rogue in X-Men to all of the kids in the school in X2 to the whole X-Men team in The Last Stand to his own brother in X-Men Origins to his Japanese girlfriend in The Wolverine his own mentor / father figure in DOFP and then Laura who is finally his own baby.... And then to top it all off, Laura turns that cross into an X. OMG. That was so fucking perfect. "And do what? Join the team? Be an X-Man? I got better things to do." There is nothing about any character in the MCU this beautiful and poetic. Not even Tony Stark.

The explain in the movie that there was a chemical in the corn syrup used in basically every food product in the world that eliminated the mutagen. That’s why he didn’t have his healing factor was deteriorating. Plus, because of that, his body couldn’t counteract the adamantium poisoning he has.

finaly somebody else sees the stupidity of that scenario in the very first minutes of the film he was shot into chest by shotgun ribgage to shreds, lungs to pieces ....... he heals it up with no problem but when they impale branch trough his kidney sure the regeneration doesnt work most disapointing scenario I´ve ever saw
