Due to exams I don't have as much time as usual. Therefore, if you have any ideas for a clip, please comment. :)

Clip ideas for later: Karl wanting to order food at the airport / Karl and Frank eating lunch at the office when Shiv tries to take charge / Tom perusing the prison catalog or talking to shiv about burping the prison wine / Anything with Karolina :)

I decree that you will ace them. By the power of the subconscious mind. Idea: post succession-like scenes from other HBO great series. Shorter clips of great dialogue

hopefully you aced your exams: here's a few recommendations for clips: Stewy referring to Sandy as a "belligerent zucchini" on his whispered phone call to Ken. Also Season 2 Connor and Tom making Greg feel bad about "Five million" 😂

The parent who can’t directly compliment the son or tell him “I love you,” but who needs a third party for that purpose. Brilliant and oh so common.

"he's a good kid" a compliment while still being patronising and slightly demeaning to Kendall. Logan is a master manipulator.

I loved this scene sooo much. And I want to believe that there is small part of Logan that means it. And the silence ooh my god! Jesse Armstrong said "The silence felt true, it's just too much, too much to say". This show is freaking perfect.

I think this foreshadows that Ken will eventually take over Waystar, just like his father ultimately wanted; Logan knew all along that he would pass down his legacy to his first born.

Brian Cox was divine in this scene. He made it so real for me when I first watched that I cried. I felt sorry fot Logan and Kendall. It was probably one of the first times Kendall heard any nice words coming from his dad and althought they were both just there to secure a deal, it felt real. For both of them. In the moment of silence, there was just a father and son who cant/prob never will connect. But my heart still felt sorry and made me cry for seeing them so open/fragile but unable to ever make a connection.

literally one of the best scenes. the whole show maybe up until this point logan has never told the truth and has always been in control. the only time he isn’t is when a shareholder has a gun to his head and basically says if you say the wrong thing i will pull the trigger. sad situations have to be so dire for logan to be decent human being
@DamienCyigenza-nq4iv2 ай бұрын
Logan meant every word he said. He couldn’t even look up. Just kept his head down looking sad. Compare it to when they initially met at aaronson’s place how Logan was head high and unbothered by the silence.

This was the best moment of the episode(and the season for me) just the way josh used his position of power to force the first honest answer from Logan. You know deep down, especially after Kendal becoming a ‘killer’, Logan has acquired a somehow newfound respect which he’s not yet(maybe never) ready to admit, one day it will be Kendall, but for the moment this is the closer we’ll get to an open heart statement.

"Maybe he is the best one of all of 'em". I think Logan truly believes that. Which is why he is such an asshole to Ken. The one thing Kendall has that his siblings don't is a moral compass. Logan knows that all he has to do in order to forge the successor he wants is break Kendall to the point he will completely destroy his own family.

He was also later testing Kendall and Logan on the way back to see how would they act in a crisis and they failed. Logan kept saying he is strong and can do it and didn't admit he was tired and Kendall instead of helping him was ridiculing him. That walk shown what would happen with a company- Logan would say he can do it till the end and kids would try to act in spite of him

It has to be Ken right? The way this episode showed just how incapable Shiv, Roman and Conor are?
@MRXDS19892 жыл бұрын
Yeah its always been ken the siblings are doing what siblings do, but none of them are capable in the least to take control. They all have moments of leadership ( even con season 1 dinner...now he's just an idiot ) but kendall is the best of them, even while o dn a body, and multiple break downs lol

Too be honest, Kendall is just a copycat of Logan. Arrogant, Stubborn and a horrible father. But, too bad Kendall's moral is stumble whether he has to be better than Logan or he has to follow his footstep every time. Roman also could fit as he's a good negotiator but too bad he's so pervert and disgusted. Obviously it's not Shiv because she has no experience on the company, and she expects to get bigger role already? Shiv is a total.moron.

The extended part of this scene IMO was to show how Kendall is still weak. Not saying Logan wasn't faking it. But even if he wasn't, it could still be used as a power move after he is better showing Kendal doesn't have what it takes to be CEO. Kendall wasn't out of the will at this point, loosing Logan would have been the ONLY loss. And again...Kendall proved he wasn't a killer to Logan, an consequently not worthy. idk just trying to imagine what it would be like from the writers point of view. Logan was again, just a wordsmith who can't be trusted when he throws compliments so sincere like this.
