I started covering this song and I was dancing and vibing-but then the further I got into the song the sadder it became and wow that ending was definitely rough emotionally. I love this song because despite the simplicity of it (verse, chorus, verse, chorus, chorus), it still manages to keep you listening the whole way through.
You also gotta appreciate the “Addicted to this feeling” homage in the lyrics to Addict. I love how the final mix came out on this, and I can’t wait to continue cranking out more Hazbin content!

The fact is, this song I can really relate to. I go through exactly what angel does with somebody and I never know how to control it, to feel better I always listen to this or sing it. And your voice over it just, MWAHHHHH good job as always. :]

One of the (many many) things I love about this version is how often you sound breathless. You DON'T sound breathless like this in your other covers, you know perfectly well how to breathe when you sing; it's all Angel. Angel exhausted and abused and powering through because there's no choice. The anger and hatred and self-hatred and defeat all twisted together in the second "gulp" verse took me OUT, as did the near sobbing at the end. You didn't just sing this, you acted it, and you can TELL
