The first man you underestimate could be the first one to put your lights out. Jake appears to have plenty of natural talent, as well as natural power. If he works that jab and his feints, he will walk Gib in to shots all night, might not even have to use his hooks, Larry Holmes won most his fight with just a jab and a straight right hand. This evolution is great to witness, once I conquer my illness (or even while I’m still plagued by it) , it would be an honor to help train you both (free of charge, just to help). There’s so much potential there, and considering my obsession with boxing and loads of experience, being trained by the disciple of Angelo Dundee.. and my severe chronic health condition that prevents me from training or competing, It would be miraculous for me to be involved in helping such creative and innovative minds, master the sweet science (understanding that Jake already has a master trainer in Mosley. HUNTER MCWHIRTER Best advice I could give you, is to master your jab. The jab sets up everything..it can be a hard shot, it can be a shot to time your opponent, it can be a fast but light shot to make them react or to move them in to a harder shot, it can be a shot your throw in their face just to blind them to your next move, it can help stop their forward momentum, or it can also help you maintain distance and gauge whether they are in reach for your back hand. If they are shorter than you, chance are they are going to want to press you and get in close..using backwards steps/half steps with a quick and stiff jab (hit him in the chest, head, shoulders, gut with it) to keep him from walking straight in on you and make him think. Keeping that back hand loaded for an uppercut if he manages to slip your jab, u can walk him right in to it. If you catch him, chances are he will try to reset, and that’s when you ram that jab right back in his face and regain your distance again. Also, make sure you use your feints..that will keep him constantly guessing, and will help disguise when you actually throw to land. Ultimately, your jab and movement as well as your feints..and having a weapon ready for him if he closes the gap (the backhand uppercut to the chin or solar plexus, or a solid body shot) then immediately getting back out of range to pop that jab back in his face/chest. Also, instead of shooting your straight right (or left if you are a southpaw) to his head, aim for the top of the chest..even if you miss his chin, it will still touch him and keep him at bay. Focus on the basics and master them, make him guess, and control the range. Best wishes man! Let me know how it goes

Vlogs army I guess bcos of the age gap and that we’re in different social environments. While I’m more focused on university and my social life, he’s more focused on his work and later marriage. So, I always find it awkward conversing with my bro. Also, I have two older sisters as well and their ages r not that far to my brother (1-3 years) and they all work already (one is already married while my bro is engaged n about to get married). So, I always kinda feel left out while my siblings get along with each other bcos of my 10-year, 9-year and 6-year age gap with all my siblings and the fact that they’re on a totally different level and environment compared to me. So yea. I can talk about some things to my siblings but when to comes to having a shoulder to cry on, god it’s hard to really talk about my feelings with my siblings, especially when it comes to uni and social life, god that’s never easy.
