Honestly, I find it super rad that they opted to go with a lighter, happier, more peaceful song for the Dark Island. It’s the perspective of the darkness being peaceful, not something to be afraid of, and even if the things you see appear frightening initially, if you take the time to listen, you may find tranquility and rest. I think it’s refreshing, and I like that a lot, especially with the creatures native to the island being so jarringly different to the vanilla monsters, showing how their environment is the darkness, and how they evolved to be in that environment. Sorry I rambled, I’m an artist and like things like this.
