Nice saw! We run Stihl because it doesn’t make sense for us to switch but do have a few huskies that are nice. Me and the Mrs. Are on vacation this week visiting my brother in law in Bloomington. We stopped and met dirt perfect and had to stop by and take a few pictures at the saw mill. I got to see blacky and Brutus in person! Very cool place you all have down here. Keep up the videos!

I have to say Wade way back in the early 70s I had the privilege to be at The Royal Highland Show, when the Husky racing team showed up with their fine tuned racing chainsaws, man I have never since in all my adult life seen anything like these guys, there was no wood that could stand or slow these guys down, they made wood furniture right there in front of you and small Christmas trees for the people standing around, seats and tables that were trunks seconds ago cost so little they were making them custom for the people who were visiting the show, there wasn't much they couldn't do, I was sold never would I buy anything other than a Husky, then real life kicked in when I was older and never could afford my first Husky, however they are still in my mind and heart, the best and safest chainsaw I have ever seen. That one you have is the type I am talking about, they just made the job easy. Keep the road in front of you and stay well Wade, every bad change in my 63 years of life all eventually came to a much better life wish you the same.

I remember one time I was watching hunt tree service cut down a couple of big trees at my neighbors house and all the trucks and shut their engines off. The chipper was loaded up on the trailer and this guy pulls out a husky 592. And I remember just being blown away by the power of that thing as it was cutting through the trunks of those huge Bradford pairs. It had the trunk turned in to dust in about two minutes.

Try an 8-pin rim sprocket I cut hardwood in NY with my 592 on a 24 and 28in bar and the 8 pin made an impressive difference in chain speed and helps the saw from over reving.

Premium Husky porn. Got to love it. Thank you Wade. I used Husqvarna chainsaws as a Territorial Force Royal New Zealand Engineer and I have a 540 XP which I use for clearing some of our house sites, topping retaining poles and other bits and bobs. I bought it because I needed time away from carpentry and worked with an arborist mate. Great fun using a sling shot to position ropes and climbing with spikes where necessary. I would suggest running full skip chain on your 592. Less cutters allows the RPM to remain HIGH. Saw will not bog out. Another benefit is less cutters to sharpen st the end of your day. Happy cutting to you.

I run 2 592s had them 1.5 years so far. Love them overall, however the AV spring by the gas tank seems to break real easy and then both have had issues with the wire that runs along the ignition coil wire gets wore inside by the recoil pulley and won't run. Dealer said that was a common issue, so keep your eye out for that.

But I have a lot of respect for the husky and I adjust mine to rap out but with the modification on the carbs they are not running too lean. I agree with everything you said and I can tell you there is not anyone that abuses a saw more than me I ask the impossible 100% of the time out of them. lol brand new huskys never made it to the woods before it went in the shop and I modified it.. Dad was like good god boy you could of at least waited till the warranty expired😂😂😂😂😂 I’m a no bullshit guy I go to the woods to cut not play around 🤷🏻♂️😁😁 (edited fur a few spell boo boos)

i am with you on that saw sounds great, like the dual spike and it really looks like you are not really using them to there full potential. you said several time 63 gauge, but is it 3/8 or .404 pitch, from the sound of the engine i believe 3/8's with is best for high rpm engines. also from the sound of the engine, i believe proper fuel mixing this saw will hold up for along time.

Wade was more than likely cutting for a specific length tie contract. He can only provide for what the contract requires. My suggestion to Wade, would be to ask that a clause be added to the contract for a certain number of bundles of switch/spur length ties be part of the sale, allowing him to save time on having to trim excess tie length. There by causing less waste of time and resources, plus increasing revenue.

I was disappointed with how the 592 piss revved constantly. Even with a 32” skip it didn’t pull the motor load down enough. I most run a 28” full comp but at any rate I HIGHLY recommend going to a 8 pin sprocket. That saw is geared too low for a small bar like a 28-32” trust me you’ll thank me.

If a file under the tooth 🦷. All we can get now these little 90cc , hard to see a chainsaw in the forest now last 20 plus yrs . Own on big timber that left around that pretty few today in 2024 .

My preference has always been for the orange and white of the Stihl brand. But currently I'm comparing Husqvarna to Stihl. Husqvarna originally started out as a rifle manufacturer and only got into the manufacturer of chain saws in 1979, where Stihl has 50 more years experience in the manufacturer chain saws. Longevity and experience are plus points in my evetual final purchase. But, I'm still doing research on both branfds.
