Here is a trick on getting the logs off you trailer easier, tie a pulley out to one of those trees and run you winch out to it and then back to the log on the trailer.

That is a nice trailer setup. Did you make that? or does it come as a kit with the crane?
@Projectoftheday9 жыл бұрын
Karson Branham The crane came as standard on the wagon, it has worked pretty well except that the attachment in the trailer is a bit weak, so it has bent a little. I will put one little reinforcement there.

Project of the day What do you do with your timbers? Do you build them? How much would you sell them for, where?
@Projectoftheday9 жыл бұрын
tom will I have an old farm from the early 1800's and the there is always the old boards that must be replaced and redone. And I want the same look on them as before. Which means that I saw in a bit unusual sizes and much rough- edged. Normally I do not sell planks, but if there is someone who needs a few of something special wood species I help if I can. I live in southern Sweden on the west coast

Project of the day That's really cool. thanks for getting back to me. So hey, how long does it take you to harvest a whole tree into timbers?

Damn, how do you afford all this expensive equipment? O.o

I don't know where you live but in NZ it is a $20,000 fine for not wearing a helmet on a quad, and having your child on the quad with you and not wearing a helmet, would result in 40-50 k in fines and maybe even jail time. You are lucky. Our local by-laws are insane!

In canada and USA this is a pretty common way to live. My 4 year old daughter stack wood with me and we ride the quad togueter since she is a week old.
