josh zalewski it’s a different aspect of music that he does to make himself feel like he wants to continue making music. All songs are in relation with his book and if you’d listen to the entire Album you’d see they all correlate in some way. They all come from the heart and are for logic himself and the people that will enjoy it. Getting a mass profit and gain more audience is not important to Logic. He’s already made it.

I listened to this song pretty much everyday my junior year of college-dealing with the roughest year bc of my classes (and some of the profs in them), toxic friends, toxic group members, rejection from the one last professional school that I had a chance of getting into. I remember I would come back from a long day of classes and sit in the study room for hours paralyzed by anxiety. Kinda feel like an idiot bc I was so uneducated about mental health help at the time due to my family’s strong distrust of it. But anyway, after crushing anxiety I would complete all my assignments/studying/projects. Had all of my worst engineering classes that year. I felt so alone. I didn’t rlly trust anyone except my one closest friend, but she was also going thru a lot of shit so she wasn’t always available either. I sat down a few times under the campus trees to write suicide notes. Ended up throwing them away. I basically slept in the study room, wouldn’t even go to my dorm room most of the time. I would wake up after a few hours of half-sleep and feel so depleted but somehow I pushed on. I felt sick all the time but somehow I kept going. I listened to this song on repeat: between classes, while studying, while applying for internships I never got, while crying over a guy who I liked so much who I knew would never like me back. I listened to it on lonely Friday nights when I was too tired and stressed and looked like too much of a mess to socialize. I listened to it on Saturday and Sunday while completing the endless mountain of work I had or while coming back from stressful meetings with my toxic group members. This song doesn’t bring back the best memories-but it certainly reminds me of the strength I had bc I don’t know how I made it thru. By the way, I did end up achieving one of my big goals and am in a much better place now. I still go through anxiety and low moods, but keep reminding myself that I’m much stronger than I give myself credit for. I still have a lot more things I wanna do, but I’ll take it one step at a time, now that I can breathe just a little bit more. The thing about this song-it reminds me that even under all that shit, I still had a bit of me that was wild and free and dreaming and hopeful. I love you all. I hope for all your best wishes to come true.

Im open to ppl expirementing and trying new things for example tylers flower boy/igor but ppl pretend like critics hate this album cause its diffrent but it just feels like its trying to be synthwavey and cool kinda like a boy js a gun or whitewoods beachwalk but instead it feels forced with poorley played aucustic guitar i think if he tried more and more and continued this style he would have potential to be amazing but this album is potential but not good in the slightest
