Best video ever about BUSES and how to use them. Thanks
@ArtistPARTYMAN2 ай бұрын
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your tutorial on buses. Out of all the ones I've seen, yours was by far the best! You explained buses like it was just a simple "walk in the park," while other videos tend to get bogged down in unnecessary rhetoric. You got straight to the point, and I really appreciate that. Your explanation was so clear and simple that even a child could understand how to use them. Awesome job! Thank you again for making it so easy to grasp. 🙂👍

I know it's not a competition, but most videos of this type take at least twice as long to explain the exact same amount of info! Super quick and efficient, while still being really clear and thorough. Thanks for that!

Your videos have certainly been very helpful. I recently made the switch from Garageband to Logic Pro along with the purchase of a new Mac Studio just a few days ago. Buses, track stacks and the ability to send audio for re-amping are the primary reasons I made the upgrade, and I very much appreciate that you have put these videos together 👍 All of them are great and I plan to watch them all.

DUDE. Track stacks? Game changer for my workflow. Holy crap. Works just like grouped tracks in Ableton and is a feature I was hoping would come to Logic.

Found someone else's video on this and they built buses backwards and didn't just let the track create the bus?!?!? Had I waited a day I would have learned the "easy way." WHERE WERE YOU 24 HRS AGO???? 😉 Worth the wait - thanks Colin!!!

So the bus itself is not actually shown anywhere on screen. Logic creates an aux track, using the bus as input. But the bus itself is abstracted away from us. It was very confusing because many refer to the aux track as the bus as though they are the same thing. In reality I think the bus is the “vehicle” that the audio rides to arrive at its destination, the aux track - much like a bus in real life. Please correct me if I’m wrong!

Moving on to Logic, huh? I'm sure you have a video on what to do with all these songs I made in Bandcamp lol Cant wait to see it (in my Chris Rock voice)

Another great video, thanks! Quick question: you used the send volume control to reduce the reverb. Would it make any sense to turn the send volume up to unity and control it with the fader? Thanks!

Say I open a vocal track from my user patches and effects automatically pop up, now I make a bus for those effects, my question is do I now delete those original effects in my original vocal track?
