Was it a conversation that could've been had in private? Absolutely. But I think it's good for the world to see shit like this, because it's the unfortunate reality that a lot of children go through. There's no "honoring" your parents when they didn't play the role of your parent. In any scenario where a parent would choose abandoning their child instead of raising them does not deserve honor. Parents deserve to be called out. Hiding behind a title when you did nothing to earn it other than procreate is bullshit. We dont ASK to be brought into this world. If you, as a parent, make the decision to bring a child into this world, you're responsible for THEM. Yall think just because Logic has gotten to a point where he can spend time with his father means he cant call him out on his bullshit? Too many people are hiding behind the cuss words to completely ignore the conversation and the VALID points that Logic made.

"His father should have slapped him in his face" If his father was around to raise him, maybe logic would respect him differently. It's evident to see who grew up privileged with their parents in their lives. Growing up unwanted by the people who created you, changes your perspective on respect. When unconditional love is non existent for some of us, don't lecture us on how to treat those who revoked love for us.
@SterlingSanders
@SterlingSanders 4 ай бұрын
This is not about race, this is about family, experience, and reality. Someone who loves their father won’t ever understand someone who doesn’t. Respect, trust, and forgiveness are earned, not given automatically for no reason, regardless of family. These people know nothing, there’s a life time of actions, experiences and conversations that have nothing to do with a camera that lead to this dynamic. “Other people, who don’t have their father around,” don’t matter. They have not lived the same life, or been through the same things.

They all lying on this topic of the family dynamic. You damn right if you buy one person a house, the other family members and siblings are gonna be looking at you crazy if they didn't get anything. Especially if you come from NOTHING. Joe should know. When you got it like that, your family is the first to ask for shit. Now the rest of their points are correct on how logic is moving and talking to his dad. He WILDIN. But let's not act like money don't bring the crazy and jealousy out of families.
@AttaMan

The only way that makes sense is in Ish’s scenario. Otherwise, everyone else can go be as jealous as they want to be and go cry about. Parents take precedent over siblings. That’s common sense.
@brandonsmith711
@brandonsmith711 3 ай бұрын
@@AttaMan that depends on the social dynamics. A brother could be more important than parents who were drug addicts and never there. An Uncle who raised you may be more important than a father who abandoned you. And once you get to a certain level, people start pulling at those strings. Family wants stuff. And it may not be a house for everyone. But its still SOMETHING for everyone. Money, investment, college, house, car. People gonna be begging. And keeping them out makes them jealous and angry and suddenly you're tearing apart the family. So yea. You proved my point

He said his barely there when he was growing father (which is not ok, cuz others have to go through it) is an addict, and he is not giving him anymore money. He cant confront his black father, because his mother is white...seriously? He confronted his father, more of this needs to happen in my opinion for us to be able to heal. It's because yall came from the generation of doing all kinds shit to your kids and demanding respect when you're a shit parent. These other generations calling you out letting you know what you did wasn't right and how it affected them as a child and an adult. I'd never talk to my dad like that. FOH, those parents don't deserve respect off the rip they have to earn it. Until you grow up with parents like that, you can't speak on how a person heals. Logic also did an interview with his brother and dad like a decade ago and discussed similar issues in their relationship. The song Under Pressure again deals with Logic‘s relationship with his siblings and his dad. How is that any different from JID on Sisterem ending the song with him asking his sister for the money back he lent her. Why is always logic people got an issue with. As someone who grew up with a crack addicted father IN and OUT of the home, Logic didnt do anything wrong. The relationship isnt there and his FATHER exploited his youth so if he has to do this to heal its all fair to me. His FATHER embarrassed him by kids coming to him in school saying they saw your dad outside of 7- Eleven panhandling when you havent seen him for days on end. His FATHER embarrassed him banging on his door after school when other kids are outside playing and you cant let him in because your mom told you not to because he's there to take and pawn your stuff. His FATHER decided to leave him and his brother at 7 and 2 at home alone for DAYS after their mom trusted him to watch over them while mom went to visit grandpa when he was dying. He let that pain out and hes well within his right.

To paint Logic as a villain for expressing his pain his absolutely disgusting , can't believe how awful everyone on the Joe budden podcast was to logic it's disgusting , I really like the Joe budden podcast and I expected a more logical and objective discussion rather than nasty comments like “he’s not black” and “he put on a performance” what a disgrace !

He comes from pain just like you guys on this show. He’s being real. Enough with the black sh*t. It’s about relationships and love. You guys are hating. Raw and vulnerable is where the world needs to go - not hate. Enough of that! That video touched a lot of people, especially fathers, or kids who lost the chance to experience their father in their life growing up. Open your mind. It’s also important for men to own their shit and not hide from it. Let’s keep it real.
