I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this: When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt. I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard. I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain. I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km. The dog bone and mounts are ok. Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed. The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes. On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit. What do you guys think? Video on my profile.

There's a lot of videos of clutch plate restoration on KZbin...they all changes the fibre but what about the worn fingers...they never repair or change them

@@zon490 incorrectly placed clutch in addition to vibration shortens the life of the gearbox and the operation of the engine. Everything matters there

Так то все хорошо сделано. И на маховике выступ сделал в компенсацию того что нажимной диск проточил. Я тоже у токаря частенько маховики протачиваю, но вот насчёт шлифовки рабочей поверхности такого не видел, надо взять на заметку.

2:14, wouldn't it be more comfortable to raise everything and work standing up at a workbench? Working with friction materials and not a mask, respirator or extraction fan in sight. 😟 While refacing a pressure plate is a good idea, it doesn't improve the 'hard' clutch feeling one gets as the spring steel weakens over time. There's a night and day difference when fitting a new clutch plate AND a new pressure plate.
