How do you get the force feedback light to turn on
@plagiator4132 жыл бұрын
You need a power supply that will directly provide feedback. You need a driver from the official Logitech site (it seems it is called Logitech Profiler). On the steering wheel there are 2 LED indicators: the left indicates that the steering wheel is connected to the PC, the right thing that the game has determined and supports feedback. That is, you just start the game and if it supports the feedback function, then the left light will turn on by itself and the feedback will work. (I use google translator, so I apologize in advance if something is not clear).

This is all about Logitech Momo Racing, but on Driving Force Pro the right indicator also notifies you that the steering wheel is connected to the PC, but the right indicator means that the limiter on the steering wheel is at 900 ° of the steering wheel turn, and if it is off, then turn the steering wheel will be limited to 200°, because in the base itself there is a mechanical limiter (by 200 and 900 degrees, respectively). You can change the steering wheel rotation limit through the same Logitech Profiler, or by pressing a combination of three keys on the steering wheel itself, but I don’t remember exactly which ones.

@@plagiator413 I have the logitech momo racing… I found it in the trash but it has no power supply. I don’t now if it is dead, but as you were saying, if the left light is on it is connected to the PC. Do I need the power supply to use the wheel even if I don’t use the force feedback?
@plagiator4132 жыл бұрын
@@ki_suco13 If you're going to use it without force feedback, then you don't need a power supply. Just connect it to a PC.

@raidx_5192 жыл бұрын
Got it. You need to get to the logitech support site and search go through the Filters and select your wheel (driving force pro). Then you will be shown some stuff. There willst be a Download Link for the Software shown. But it says it's only compatible up to Win8. Don't care bout that, just download it and it'll work. Finished.

If we compare Force Feedback, then they are the same. MOMO Racing is more noisy and squeaky, unnecessarily large base. The Driving Force Pro has 900 degrees of steering wheel turn and more buttons, the base is compact. The pedal blocks are identical. They hold up well on the table. So, Driving Force Pro will be better.
@plagiator4132 жыл бұрын
But if you want to try a Force Feedback wheel base for very little money, then MOMO Racing is the perfect option. And he has a more comfortable and pleasant steering wheel.

@@plagiator413 I know a guy in my city who does 900 degree modification for logitech momo. Momo is also cheaper here, so would that be the best option?
@plagiator4132 жыл бұрын
@@a.a110 As far as I know, when using the 900 degree modification, MOMO Racing loses feedback. I watched a review of several guys on this modification, almost everyone talked about this "feature". The only adequate mod I've seen wasn't limited to just changing the circlips. A really serious modification of MOMO Racing will cost a lot of time spent, and in the end will cost more than the Logitech DFP.

@@plagiator413 it doesnt lose feedback but does lose a lot in precision. You will need better encoder and custom made encoder wheel
