LOGITECH G CLOUD | is it worth the price tag? | Why I NEEDED this!

Just got mine yesterday and it’s awesome :-). It’s an excellent companion if you have gaming hardware already, like PS5, Xbox or a PC. The PC streaming is especially remarkable using the free Moonlight app- it looks like native gameplay! However, if I didn’t have any gaming hardware, a ROG Ally (X) or Steam Deck would have been a better choice. It’s all about convenience, which is why I love my Switch, but this device lets me play much more graphically demanding games in the same handheld form factor.

I love my G cloud I can play my PS5, Xbox game pass, I use Steam Link to play PC games, Geforce now to play PC games, android games I wouldn't play if I didn't have the G cloud, games like Diablo, Chrono Trigger, FF3, COD mobile, FF9, because of the touch screen controls, I'm even emulating gamecube and some wii games. I don't play on any other device now. I can seemlessly transition from each of these options in seconds. Example I'll hop on do my daily bounties on Destiny 2, then jump on Octopath travler via Geforce now, maybe steam link Dave the diver or FF 13. This is awesome it's like having all my consoles and gaming platforms in one small device I can take anywhere I have an internet connection. The best part is I can literally play on all day! I'll run through 2 to 3 ps5 controllers before this things dies.

That’s dope, how you emulating GameCube games on it? I love mine too although not a fan of the touch screen only games, feels very weird having buttons n controller sticks but not being able to use them. Thank you for your comment.

@MrMidasGames I'm using the Android version of Dolphin for gamecube games. I hate touch screen games and wouldn't play them if it wasn't for the G cloud. Button mapping is awesome. I'm playing COD mobile, Diablo Immortal, FF9, Chrono Trigger, the free version of Vampire survivor, and some other games with the g clouds controls. I didn't have to map Chrono. FF9, or Vanpire survivor, the controls were immediately recognized. I think it's cool because, like I said earlier, I would never have touched these games if I had to play with only screen controls. It's awesome being able to seemslessly switch between most of my gaming.

Plenty of games you can play on this without Wi-Fi just retrogames alone they were over 50,000 games that can be played not to mention offline Android games which there are thousands of as well

You can play andriod games on offline but these games are all touch screen so I don't enjoy playing them.

Yes it runs super smooth as long as your internet is good.

I’ve never used the GeForce, it has Bluetooth but don’t think you can connect a mouse.

So far I’ve purchased 2 of these devices and both have them have very annoying squeaky triggers. Does anyone else experience this?

The left and right triggers haven’t had an squeaky sound but I do play with volume up pretty high, lemme test tonight when the gameplay is low and let you know
