wonderfully helpful! you answered my questions maybe 3 minutes in but i watched till the end just so you can rack up that watch time! Also watched the gaming video review you mentioned. i have the (203) and just wanted the same mouse cause mine is doing a double click thing now? i now can confidently order a new (102) thanks to you!

I've a doubt, in India the Logitech G102 is of Rs. 1500 and the Logitech G203 is of Rs. 8000 (blue) and the white one is of Rs. 1800. The price gap is too much. I'm really confused 😕

I have G102 Lightsync. Yes we call it G102. And also we have G102 Prodigy.

it is not that good a mouse, i needed to disable the cycle DPIs button situated just below the wheel, in the middle of playing game, this button gets in the way, too easy to press and you DIE in the game. for back and forward buttons, my thumb is NOT long enough to press them well when i assign them to weapons 2 and 7, OR i die in game from an accidental press, the screen moves to the previous webpage or something in game. in doom3 game, 102 doesnt work well on the doom3 game menu, moves too fast, while in the main game itself it is smooth and nice

All of these are user error and has nothing to do with the mouse itself. Set your in game dpi for doom lower and asjust mouse sensitivity accordingly. Cant really help with the accidental presses on the DPI button. It seems almost impossible to accidentally hit it unless you are really weirdly deforming your hands or have an teensy little middle finger.

@@rubenloedolff nonsense, you can make the contact with gold and platinum to create a perfect DPI, but if the buttons are too close or cant reach well for humans, that is a design failure which is even worse, this is why these mice sell for bulk and no less than $10 each

​@@abcdef2069 This mouse doesn't sell for 10 bucks. What bulk sellers decide to sell it for is irrelevant. You literally just said that the DPI changes in Dooms menu. Therefor it has nothing to do with whether or not the contact has gold or platinum. If it changes in a game menu, it means the DPI for that game menu is different. If the mouse works normally in game or outside of it, it by definition means its not the game. A simple process of elimination, this is pretty straight forward. You are probably the only person that cannot reach the side mouse buttons with your thumb, therefor its not a design flaw but a human flaw, aka your hands are miniature or you have deformed hands. The fact that you also manage to hit the DPI button on accident tells me this is most likely the case...

@@rubenloedolff i shouldnt say too much about DPI and it seemed that it wanted to be at default DPI 1600 with 800 mark each and report rate 1000, confusing enough not to bother with it anymore, i didnt want to change this around for every different game manually, you probably know much about DPI control more than i do, i didnt care DPI anymore, so i put it in a default DPI, much of of DPI thing,i dont remember anymore. when i messed around with it, when you have 1000 games, checking mouse sensitivity for every different game was also a problem, i only go with a default DPI, and g102 was better than other mice. i paid for $7.5 from a bulk sale, without a box just plastic bag or wrapped around with a rubber band, when i went back a year later, now they were selling it for $18, but this bulk sale might come back. when i said "reach",i meant REACH comfortably without clicking a neighbor, use your brain, you probably have a monkey kind of hand, how can you press well ,1 cm wide 2 thin buttons with 2mm apart. at 1st time, i also complained about 4th MMB too close to the MMB, but i am kind of used to it now. i didnt use the 5th and 6th side button for a year then i started to use 5th side button a month ago for a last weapon selection, i sort of imagined what if it had 4th 5th 6th MMB on top of a mouse instead of side, this cheap but well made mouse g102 can replace all my microsoft mice, when i didnt think about DPI, g102 was nice,i am still in the process of changing ONE default mouse sensitivity for all my games.
