Those “indicators” are gear shifting paddles, for manual driving. The left pedal is for clutch. You’ll have a much better experience mate ☺️👍

Brother go to the settings and you can change things up such as switching to manual then you can use the pedels behind the wheel to shift gears. So it's like driving a Lamborghini manual (semi Auto). The third pedel (foot) is the clutch and that is used with the shift stick. That is the traditional manual.

Idk if anyone has mentioned it, but playing using the clutch pedal won't really help you learn to drive a real vehicle with a clutch. Much of that learning process has to do with feedback that you cant replicate digitally.

FYI for anyone who ran into my issue. My wheel was set to ps3. Look at the tip of the wheel you’ll see a green light. Make sure it’s set to ps4 if you’re on ps4/ps5
