They actually improved the mic(currently using it for 4 months, work and gaming/streaming). I tried streaming and it sounds nothing what is shown in the video. No additional strange sound to the mic as well. But the video really helped!

All audio would lack bass, sound tinny af and need an amp and dac if the onboard audio in you computer is that bad. I'd recommend upgrading your motherboard first.

Sennheiser has a couple pair JayzTwoCents had a pair and ran them for quite some time. When not looking for Bluetooth ones look at ones designed for home theater systems generally. The exist, it isnt a huge market though cause its not as ubiquitous as BT.

It would be interesting to know what the actual millisecond delay is. Since you seem to have the hardware and software to do it, you could simply split the audio between a corded set and the wireless set, play a sound through them both at once, record and analyze the audio to look for the delay between the two near-simultaneous sound spikes.

I often only use Gaming Headphones for general in-house use, this heaset look good since I think the RGB on headphones is pretty dumb idea, I just want some good general use sound, for my all-time walking music I'm thinking on getting something else, and for my future music production is pretty obvious this will be basically useless... Thanks for the review Zy, you are helping me to get the best gear for me.

Open back all the way. Even the cheaper Steel Series Siberia headsets are better than the best closed headphones you can find because the sound stage is so much better for locating foot steps or gun sounds. Closed is for noisy house-holds if you really can't stand listen to your family.

Something I absolutely love about G933 is that it has close to no background hissing noise while it is on (VOID Wireless and ManO'War both noticeable background noise). I wonder whether G533 maintains that characteristic.

+Ping U make sure mic is muted on ManO'War... it should have no noise.

When I turn down the sidetone or mute the mic on ManO'War, I can tell the hissing becomes quieter ever so slightly but the majority of the hissing is still there and is still no where at the quietness of G933... Maybe I need to try making an exchange?

Audio technica m50x(150bucks) + neewer nw-700 pro studio microphone(includes the phantom power and the movable desk arm - 60bucks) = roughly $210+- all in all on Amazon right now and you have an awesome headphones and mic setup :) *I don't own both items but I've done my research and I'm planning to buy them in the future:) *if your budget range to 100-130bucks you can go with the audio technica at2020 or Blue yeti microphone.. Both are legit mics based on my research.. *pricing may vary so don't be mad at me if you see the prices go up a little.. cheers!

I love my G533. I have no problems paying extra for the G933, but the buttons just aren't that useful to me. Also a point you barely touched on: The RGB lighting! G533 has none, also cuts down on costs but many leave it off anyway, so that's a win!

If you're ever after a good pair of headphones for mixing and gaming check out akg k712 or beyerdynamic dt880. Wide soundstage which is good for gaming, very accurate sound with good bass which is good for mixing edm. That said if you're using onboard sound that's probably the reason you don't think there's a difference between the audio technicas you reviewed and the g933.

i use the Sennheiser game one headset, open back, good accuracy, audiophile grade sound (not 700dollars good of course) and i use the mic when i am at a friends house and use an audio technica at2020 xlr mic when im at home

RJN, I have the G933, am very satified with the sound quality, comfort, design, battery life. The mic is trash, but I can get over it. But what I noticed is they were VERY loud when I bought them. like 40% in Windows would BLAST me away. After an update ( I think this is the cause) they got very quiet. 100% volume would not get quite loud enough. So I uninstalled the Logitech Gaming software and voila, they blast again. but I basically lose all of the features with that. Did you have this problem, and if so, what's your take on it?

Zy what do you think of in-ear headsets? I use a Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 and the sound feels perfect. I got bored of the over-ear headsets and they broke after ~1 year with daily use. Currently the Hammerhead works perfectly for me.

I'm not a fan of the Hammerhead it just works fine.the If you have some recommendations I'd be happy (I had a Roccat Syva before but the cable got damaged and the left side died. :'( RIP Syva)

depends on how much you want to spend Soundmagic E10 is a great middle term in price, but if you want to go farther you can go for 1More Triple Driver or Dunu Titan 5. These two are just amazing, and it's not even the top tier of IEMs.

g933 and g533 are pretty much the same price for me. They are all listed 170 in Canada. My main concern for g933 is that it may be a bit heavy for longer use. One thing that I am not sure of for wireless headsets is that if the battery runs out, do I have to charge it right away or I can plug in 3.5mm or usb to charge it while using it. I personally prefer g533, it's light and simple. Not because shroud wears it.
