My Logitech Z5500 is dying and was looking at the Z906 but honestly I don't use the surround features. So how do these compare is the question with no center channel. The center channel is very nice for videos and voice. Its hard to tell via a youtube video so really need first hand experience from people that have heard both.

no they are still bugged. its been almost a year and they STILL haven't fixed the issues. the firmware update 122.2.22 Forces 7.1 surround sound on your system which DOESN'T make any goddamn sense! its TWO speakers NOT 7 so whenever im playing a game the audio is all fucked up bc it thinks its 7 speakers instead of two. they STILL have not fixed it!!

Z-906 are amazing home theater 5.1 surround sound system that go up to 500Watts without the speakers destroying themselves and can be boosted up to 1000, but will be destroyed, these are 240 watts, 120 watts without destroying themselvs and 240 watts will destroy them, these are PC speakers for your desktop. cant compare.

The VGA-like connector from the speakers is kinda unique since they receive the video (for RGB lightning) and also L/R audio from each of these female connectors behind the subwoofer. I guess your interface has no such connectors to plug these connectors in? This would require some research because I've never seen VGA/serial (or whatever they are called) connectors receiving both audio and video at the same time.

Hey I've read online that it has some volume issues? like it's too loud, or the volume jumps very aggressively when you increase it. Do you have any issues with it?

I got these, had it for six months or something like that and I have the issue where they are too loud., ridiculously loud. This can easily be fixed with a small free software called Equalizer APO. You have to reapply the equalizer APO to the sound device every time Logitech updates their software for the speakers (not that often and it's easily done). I have another problem that I haven't been able to solve yet, Windows sees it as a 7.1 sound device which means when that sound is lost when playing games. I haven't looked into this as much since I mostly game with headphones. Otherwise I'm really happy with these speakers but I would have a hard time to recommend them because of the issues.

This system is good but a little wasted on a Xbox or PS4 as it wouldn't make use of the lightsync options. You can connect via the aux cable to your headphone Jack on the controller.

The subwoofer isn’t all that great if i’m gonna be honest. The speakers sound as if they’re coming out of a basic TV, I personally don’t think they’re the best as far as bass goes since in order to actually hear bass via the subwoofer you’d have to turn the volume extreme high which ends up hurting your ears just to hear the slightest bit of bass. All around i’d rate them a 2/5. They would be a 1 if it weren’t for the color variability and settings.
