Logitech Gaming Software: Rapid-Fire Macro Tutorial

This is a macro for Black Ops 3, some other games might not play so well with them. So, I was requested to do this and here it is!

Yep sometimes you can point to the launcher executable, not the actual game and that will screw up game detection, otherwise it always works. Best to have an rgb mouse like the spectrum and assign a color so you can be sure its switched to the right profile, annoyingly not standard on some of their lineup

At least the standard G502 (their best mouse in the opinion of most people) is now the Spectrum G502, so that will have it. Unfortunately I still have an original G502.

Hey man, I noticed in your video you weren't able to get the profiles working automatically, this is because sometimes the .exe files get muddled sometimes, best way to do it is to run the game, tab out, open task manager (ctrl + shift + esc) and right click on the actual game task and select 'open file location' once you do this you copy the file address at the top of the opened folder and paste it into the logitech program when you are adding a profile and have to browse for the file. this way you get the correct file and it will automatically connect when the game is running, hope that helped. oh also... sometimes the file will change if the game/program has a new version/ update

So... does this allow free other actions while the mouse button is pressed ? As I have a mouse that allows use of marco'es, but while the macro "runs", it locks the view in place as it doesn't accept other inputs. Which makes missing the target very probable.

I was looking for this for the exact same reason. I'm switching from a Deathadder 2013 to a G502 and I want to use my auto clickers >:) btw, sometimes when you shoot if it stops or pauses or anything you're oversampling it. Also a strange note is the higher your FPS, the smoother the shooting is. The Fal in bo2 and the five-seven are OP especially in hard core ;D

You can do it onboard as well, also u might want to increase the delay as having it that fast can get u banned, u want it so its around 4-5 clicks persecond, and u want it varried as well, using an exact one will get u banned most likely...

I should have used this at Steam Summersale Game to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome. Tried this with Doom 3 profile (Doom is not available as online profile), but didn´t work...even when saved in default :( . Clickmakro in logitech testing mode worked, but not in the game.

theres the part of this software that sucks quite a bit, the only way to toggle on and off certain macros is tying it into a game launching. So no, you unfortunately can't press a key to toggle profiles or anything.

MasterIvey Let's Play well as it says, left click has to be assigned to a key at all times, so assign a left click key press to another mouse key then you can assign the macro to the left click button

Hey.. Got a guestion... if you imagine there is a trick you can do in game by pressing ''T'' twice, very fast. I would like to map that ''double T click'' to one single click on any button on the mouse. Is it possible ?

Provided your mouse works with multi-key macros (a G502 will but some won't), you can make a macro with a T press then a 50ms delay (roughly), and then another T press. It works, requires a bit of fiddling.

I would like to bind a side button on my mouse to v. Do you know how to do that? I play csgo so my voice command button is on v, and when i'm pressing ctrl and speaking in the mic, it's really hard to stretch my hand.

simply go into the macro part of Logitech Gaming Software, click your side button then click create new command, and then keystroke and bind it to V and you're done. Also, if you ever want to change back to the default mouse button, click on the mouse thing you created the macro to, then click use generic, and that'll reset it.

Make sure you've deleted all extra game profiles and just have the generic profile have the macro. If that doesnt work, no idea.

Don't even get me started on Black Ops 2, rapid fire macros do super wierd shit in that game, I can't help you with that since its so wierd and I never figured out how to fix it. Only thing I can say is slow down the macro as much as possible, but at a point it stops being useful to even have a macro if its only shooting the pistol slow.
