Love the video as always! Are you planning to do the mic test for Logi Dock? Also, does the HDMI supports 4K @100Hz? I saw that you are using (I assume) 34 inch ultra wide monitor (I use the same type of monitor). Some docks doesn't support WQHD resolution, does Logi Dock supports WQHD?

Hi Andika! Thanks for watching! I totally forgot to mention in the video, I was using the Logi Dock mics to record audio for the video! Yes, the Logi Dock supports up to 4K. I found hidock h1. It has the ethernet port, and multiple usb ports. Then you don't need a converter.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The Logi Dock doesn’t fit into any current category of peripherals and devices. It is a docking station in the sense that you can connect your laptop and gain access to what you connect to the the Logi Dock: Display, Webcam, USB lights, headset, other plus it also charges your laptop. The Logi Dock is also a premium speakerphone with speakers and microphones you can use for voice and video calls from you laptop or you can pair your mobile device via Bluetooth and use it to stream media or take calls. Via Logi Tune, you can integrate your Outlook or Google Calendar and it notifies you of upcoming meetings. From the Logi Dock, you can also join Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex meetings by pressing the join button. While in a video meeting the Logi Dock also has volume control, and provides you the ability to mute your mic and camera. To date, I haven’t tested or seen another device like this. Technically, it is an audio dock. Simply, it is an integration with the speakerphone and docking station. It's always interesting for such a new integrated product coming out, because the brands always have their way to educate us whta exactly the product is. Storytelling, you know. And some similar audio docks come out, too. I found one called hidock h1, more ports and powered by ChatGPT. Sounds very helpful on note-taking and work. The market grows and we will know what we need.

Do the mute mic/mute camera buttons work if you are not in the teams/zoom window (if im viewing a diff application like chrome or a presentation) additionally, do the mute mic/video buttons work while screen sharing? great review!

Great question, Alan! The microphone mute button works across ALL platforms whether you are just a participant or a presenter in sharing mode. The camera mute feature is currently only available while in Microsoft Teams meetings and it the mic/camera mute do work while sharing content via Teams meeting. Logitech is constantly evolving and updating their technology, features and functions. I believe one day, the camera mute function/feature will work with other platforms. It looks like at great dock indeed. But it seems to have one glaring omission. There is no button to power on your laptop from the dock itself. Every other dock I've ever used has one. Having to open the laptop, push the power button and then close the laptop again is just downright stupid.

Hi Braja Chandra Das! How far are away are you from the device? The furthest distance in my home office from the Logi Dock is 12ft / 3.65m. Based on my tests, the mic pick up is very good. The Logi Dock has become my favorite piece of technology! The speaker quality is also superb for voice meetings and for streaming audio / music from my PC and iPhone.

Hi, @glaucobenine! Speakerphones by designed are supposed to pick up sound from all around from varying ranges depending on model. If you're looking for a similar product wiht better noise canceling function, you can check out the hidock h1. I notice that it has the bi-directional noise cancellation technology, claiming that it can filters the noise from your side to the far end, and filters the noise from the far end to your side. Sounds amazing. Then no worry about having a meeting in a noisy environment.

Thanks for the review! Been hard to find content on this dock. Two questions: are the buttons on the dock physical, or capacitive (I.e. touch sensitive)? And secondly, if you have overlapping meetings scheduled to start at the same time, does hitting the join button on the dock auto join one of them or does it give you some kind of prompt to select which meeting you want to join?

😂 Yes, however once you connect it and plug into an outlet it's out of the way. The Logi Dock has become one of, if not my favorite device. It has completely transformed the way I work by making it so simple to join meetings with just a press of a button vs searching my Outlook calendar and opening the appropriate meeting client.
