double clicking is usually because the button itself is broken and needs to be replaced.

@@danibusvlc its a standard size, just search for mouse microswitch and you will find plenty of different kinds, the biggest difference to most people is that they usually sound a little different from each other.

I think so, I switched it on and then my middle mouse button started working again Edit: actually no, I think it was the cleaning that fixed it, the microswitch is connected to the mouse on/off switch

@@aaronrecord9501 what do you mean mate? I have a same mouse model and the middle button just started double-clicking. As usual, replacing the microswitch is a guaranteed fix, but I was trying to figure out the dimensions (middle button microswitch are rarely standard ones) without dismantling it.
