Hi David, i know you did this review a year ago, i have bought this same system, but only now 2024, setting it up. 1 question is where to put the sub woofer? One reviewer said on the desk top as the sub has a downward speaker. Tech speak sorry. Cheers

Hey Bryan, congrats first of all. When I set it up, I put it on my desk. The bass was hitting pretty nicely without it being overwhelming (but my arms would feel tingly at times). At the end of the day, I think it’ll depend on your floor. Mine was a carpet so the bass didn’t hit that nicely (because of the downward speaker) but if you have wooden floors I don’t think it’d be a big issue with the sub on the floor. Hopefully that answers your question!

Hello, did you try them in videogames? I was thinking of buying these speakers mainly to play shooters where sound is very important, but I don't like to use a headset as they seem too uncomfortable, that's why I prefer to use speakers. greetings

Hi, I have a problem: The wireless volume control only functions in Bluetooth mode. When I connect the speakers using the 3.5mm jack port, the wireless volume control fails to adjust the volume. I can still listen to music, but it emits a double beep when I attempt to adjust the volume. I'm unsure if this is a defect or if the volume control is designed to work exclusively in Bluetooth mode.

I was able to adjust volume when connected to the computer via 3.5mm. I remember having to switch the input settings from the bottom of the knob. Does the double beep happen even after that?

I haven't used z333 personally but it's cheaper than z407 and the sub has slightly more watts (I can't speak on the sound since I don't own it). It's also got front-facing subwoofers so I think z333 is better. I think I prefer the aesthetic of the z333 because of the rectangular look!
