Via aux ,you get flat sound from all the 5 speakers, same if you use optical you can fee the sdifference in sound separation..each speaker does what they need to do during a yrack

Sorry I only received this notification tonight 3 weeks later . I am using pioneer car tweeters with a resistors on each tweeter . One on the center channel , one on the left rear and one on the right rear . It make movies and music sound better.

Go with jbl dude, logi is great but pretty outdated and hell lot of cables creating mess..

The z906 is better than the bar 5.1 in sound quality, bass, and surround sound experience. Only drawback is that, it doesn't have modern features or connectivities or features. But Sound and bass quality wise, jbl bar 5.1 is just closer to z906. So, the z906 is superior. Even the bar1300 from jbl won't beat the z906. Go with some true surround sound setup with avr and high end speakers if you want something more than the z906. Z906 was my first system for home entertainment years before. When i decided to upgrade, no systems were there that could deliver killer lows or atleast close to it except the z623. Still, nothing has changed. It remains undefeated when it comes to lows. Atlast, brought a pair of svs sb1000 pro. 100% satisfied. Sometimes,the bass tones of both are identical at same volume level. The svs slams a bit harder.

@@coolmonkey5269 no, atmos won't work as it should,without having proper speaker positioning and setup. You must've noticed the real atmos setup from theaters or atmos setup in a dedicated home theater hall. Lots of speakers are present. And a mighty avr is a must to experience the full potential of Dolby atmos. Now in between bar 9.1 and z906, I'll always recommend the z906 cause, it literally blows away any atmos sound bar setups with its immersive real surround sound output. Plus it has thunderous lows which even the jbl bar1300 don't have. Now this brings me to your personal preference. You prefer to have heart thumping bass. For this, I'll suggest you to go for any jbl soundbars from bar 3.1 and up. Being down firing they really kick ass, and you could feel the thump under your feet and in your chest. Z906 has deep, very deep low frequency response, which creates insane pressure all over your house. You can feel the pressure far away from your home. Throw of the lows are tremendous. Pressure can be felt all over your body too. That high excursion driver is really a game changer. Just like the svs active subwoofers. I'm running dual sb1000 pro. So i know how it sounds like. Now the choice is yours👍

the mids and lows are good, but the highs are a bit lacking and therefore sound a bit dull. Furthermore, a very good installation for little money, Teufel surround system is really good, but also much more expensive!
