Logos S3 VS EVERY Boss

Logos is definitely weaker than W but that's more than expected, he can kill some bosses faster than W tho due to his necrosis, and being able to kill someone like patriot who has 90 Res is really impressive for a caster, the projectile speed reduction also made it easier to keep him alive too since I could heal him more between shots and the main reason he took so much longer to kill some bosses than W was because he doesn't have ammo skill tbh so I had to wait for it to recharge a lot of times. Overall Logos is a really strong caster who is able to deal a lot of damage and provide a ton of utility too which makes him a great op to have alongside W on the banner

I would say that in most situations his S2 should be better at killing bosses, but you do lose the ability to hit several targets at the same time if you also want him to deal with the surrounding mobs.

it helps him deal damage to more enemies, therefore helping his wave-clearing. its not getting wasted, if anyghing, it helps him be more flexible. ​@dangng7079 not to mention, eyja has that massive cooldown. it just doesnt make up for it enough. especially since Logos's S2 and S3 are very cyclable for their value, and S1 is infinite duration skill with a massive ATK buff atleast eyja wasnt as brutally murdered like silverash (he seems to get a comeback tho) because eyja has her s2, her talent 1 and most importantly, her goated medic form

i say eyja still the second best caster out there so no need to feel bad. the goated arts dealer group isnt that crowded compared to the guards, but its also a bit more "limited" to specifically dealing arts damage. The only utility arts dealers that are really really good art dealer are Gnosis, Reed, Surtr, Goldenglow, Texalter, Suzuran and maybe Virtuosa. But the ST arts dealers that are generally goated are Eyja and now Logos. You could argue Ceobe but she's far too focused in countering high DEF enemies that it's not as easy to find use for her against enemies that aren't ones she fairs well against compared to the other two I just mentioned.

Oh yeah, he does necrosis build-up based on the actual arts damage dealt, so he'll solo inflict necrosis a lot slower on high res enemies compared to low res ones. Cheers for the showcase, that's an important distinction I hadn't considered before.

That's why you have Ritualist (Valrquin and Virtuosa), they can deal direct Necrosis damage but can't really deal Elemental dmg that scale with stat. Logos, Ebenholz (and Primal Casters who are currently 6ft under) can deal Elemental damage that scales on their stat, but struggled at inflicting Necrosis dmg themselves. (Logo does rely much less on Elemental dps and has an easier time inflicting Necrosis however, due to his RES shred). They really should pair up.

There's many people saying he powercrept Eyja but honestly Eyja can finally rest. Imagine a year 0 operator finally can rest after 5 years carrying casters. Not only that HG actually release 2 6★ core caster in between that time but still can't let her rest. While a lot of year 0 - 2, even 3, 6★ already powercrept by things these days. HG took 5 years and 3 attempt to bring down Eyja in casters department but now she's still the best in healing medic department. Another 5 years probably?

S2 and S3 dont seem to differ that much in term of solo DPS imo, S3 is more versatile due to the wave-clearing capability. The only time you would use S2 would be with an Atk buffer (in which case ATK% scales better with S2 compared to S3) or let him solo dueling with other Art-damage bosses (who are, more often than note, resistant to Art damage). S2 is not receptive to ASPD (i.e Aak cant help him as much), but fixed dmg interval allows Logos to ignore ASPD debuff, which is something that may become more prevalent in future bosses. With that said, Logos S2 still have to compete with Ceobe S2 which is..... not as clean cut as Logos S3 vs Eyja S3.

very different usage. unless you bring medic harem it's regular unit with relatively short sp cost vs helidrop that does absolutely nothing for one whole minute. range difference also matters. better to compare with something like eyja s3
