لاہوری گیٹ پر مونگ پھلی اور گچگ بنانے والے لاہوری انکل کی باتیں سن کر خوشی ہوئی میں لاہور میں رہتا ہوں میرے والد صاحب امرتسر میں واقع کوٹلی گائوں کے رہنے والے ہیں اور میری والدہ چمیاری کے قریب واقع گائوں دیال پورہ تحصیل اجنالہ ضلع امرتسر کی رہنے والی ہیں۔میرے والدین کے بھی یہی جذبات تھے کہ جب حالات صحیح ہوں گے تو ہم اپنے گائوں واپس چلے جائیں گے لیکن ایسا ہو نہیں سکا اب وہ دونوں اللہ کو پیارے ہو چکے ہیں۔امرتسر کو امبرسر کہتے تھے اور اپنے امبرسر کو بہت یاد کرتے تھے

Very interesting story of this family. There are 13-Gates (Dawazey) of Old walled city of Lahore. One of them is MASTI GATE. Though I am from Sialkot, but I studied and did a job in Lahore and I am used to pass through old narrow streets of Lahore. Its almost my passion to go there and to have lunch or dinner. There is also a LAHORI GATE in Lahore but with the passage of time its name is called LOHARI GATE, where there are various non=veg food items inside tis gate. There is also a Delhi gate too.
