Lois & Clark stars Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain took the stage at Steel City Con March 2023 to talk about the show, their experiences, and answer fan questions.
Teri Hatcher was Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She also appeared in Supergirl and Smallville as an homage to this role. Also, she is known for Desperate Housewives, Coraline, The Odd Couple, Seinfeld, MacGyver, The Love Boat, Spy Kids, Tomorrow Never dies, and so many more.
Dean Cain is well known for his role as Clark Kent aka Kal-El aka Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. He is also known for his roles on Supergirl, Smallville, God’s Not Dead, Rat Race, Las Vegas, The Platform, Hit the Floor, Lady Dynamite, Beverly Hills 90210, The Division, Clubhouse, and many more.

Dean Cane was on the show called Friday night tights, on a channel called Nerdrodic. He says he's ready to do another season with them being older in a child. Also said Teri Hatcher is the best kisser too

They're too old now, and a reboot, with a brand new cast would be very unlike to have the incredible chemistry that Cain and Hatcher had as Clark and Lois.

Lois and Clark was the first Superman telling I saw where they really leaned into the idea that Clark was the real identity and Superman was the alter-ego, which I think makes more sense.

Unlike Batman who is the the person while Bruce and Brucie are his alter egos, Clark is the person, Kal-el and Superman are the alter egos

@@Jucelegario It's also partially based on "DC Rebirth," which is hands-down the worst incarnation of the DC Universe yet. There was never any chance for anything good to come of it. The Superman costumes on the show are decent, though. I'll give them props for that.

I love how their presence always indicates how far each production will go in drama. In Lois&Clark's case, their role indicates the darkest, saddest parts of Superman's life and times are omitted.

Was at this show met Dean if you haven't please do so. He is one of the sweetest people around. I got a picture with him and my autograph is him and Chris Kyle and I asked what he was like. I thanked him for when he did Ripley's Believe it or not a episode where he talks about a woman who has NEUROFIBROMATOSIS a medical condition I have and how it got me to talking about to others he got excited about it and said thank you for being so strong and sharing this and being a fighter

Dean’s and Teri’s chemistry was excellent, and I think that is what got them their parts. I had heard that there were several screen tests with different “Clarks” and different “Loises”. Dean tested with multiple actresses, and Teri tested with multiple actors. There were other combos too. However, the onscreen chemistry of these two was off the charts. The network went with Dean and Teri.

I’m rewatching all the episodes on French to and Teri is right not enough shows like that. I think I like l&c because it’s nicely done, warm lights, Color’s, beautiful actors, it has really good acting, doesn’t take itself too seriously, has romance, interesting plots, likeable personalities and comedy. It was a wholesome show, feel good show, no politics, bring them back :)

Best Lois and Clark ever! Terri is a terrific actress and Dean is the best iteration of Superman ever. Their romance was fleshed out, both characters grew together and evolved, they helped each other be a better version of themsleves and the banter and Lois's sarcasm were top notch! They werent just hot ppl that hooked up like in the 1st Snyder Superman. Also, Superman is intersting because the question was why didnt he become a power hungry dictator with all his powers-and this show explains that perfectly.

One of the main differences between this show and the other, more current, super hero shows is that this one had a sense of joy and fun. I actually believe that these two characters (Clark and Lois) had fun together. Many of the characters on recent CW type shows are supposedly great friends but they never seem to have a lot of fun together. If the show did not demand it, they feel like they would never hang out with each other. Give me these two and "Lois and Clark" any day.

What I love about the different actors who play Superman brings their own flavor to the character. None of us have to like the same actor who played Superman. As much as I love dean's Christopher Reeve was the Superman that started my love for the character. Then Dean came then Tom and so on. We can all relate because at some point we feel like a alien a outsider. We try to fit in once we find our place that's when our lives connect with everything

As a fan of the show, I believe that LOIS AND CLARK :THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN was funny and appealing because the series creators uniquely reimagined and reinterpreted THE SUPERMAN SAGA through the lens of the SCREWBALL ROMANTIC COMEDY genre. Dean Cain as Clark Kent and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane embody the modern day versions of characters like Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert in "It Happened One Night" but most especially Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in "His Girl Friday".

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I will be 71 on the 28th. It’s interesting that the rivalry, and almost hatred of Pittsburgh against Philadelphia still exists. When I grew up in Oakland, you hated the Phillies, the Eagles, the 76ers, and any associated with Filthydelphia as we used to call it. But I am very off-topic. I loved Lewis and Clark I’ll love getting cane and carry Hatcher and I miss them and I could watch the show for 10 more years. It was a great fun. And it’s so nice to see them on stage together and now carryman knows you don’t mention Philadelphia to a Pittsburgh crowd. Go Bucs ! Go Pens ! Fire Mike Tomlin !

The more partisan politics the studio enforces the more it divides left from right so the latter end up being left without a job unless they close their mouth and put up with it.

But I did know they stopped having him on Supergirl regularly after 2017/18, and I always figured it was because of his political views. The way they handled it was they just stopped acknowledging her adopted Earth dad’s existence. But to be fair Helen(Kara’s earth Mom) stopped showing up as well even before Dean did..
