Hello and welcome everyone! It's Morgaine here today with your weekly watercolour video. Today I'll be sharing with you this lovely loose winter landscape, with a flock of hungry crows.
Equipment list: today I'm using Arches brand 100% cotton watercolour paper, Rough textured, 140lb/300gsm, size 23cm x 31cm / 9 inches x 12 inches. The brushes I use are: a Daler Rowney Aquafine Skyflow 2 inch flat brush; an Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush size 14; a Da Vinci synthetic quill round brush size 0; and a Pro Arte Sword liner brush size Small. The colours I use are: Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, and Burnt Umber.

Hi Morgaine. This is just right time for a painting like this. The land getting prepared for sowing, trees not yet showing signs of rising sap, and the ever hungry crows searching for a meal. And no hint of the blustering Clarkson issuing has never ending flow of bad language and worthless opinions. (He is funny tho...) Thank you for sharing this with us. Well done. TTFN

Dear morgaine, I love this . The sky turned out gorgeous. In contrast the dark colours work really well. You have I think mastered the sword liner as it's takes a few goes to get used to the marks it makes. 😀 Your storytelling really brings your paintings to life , I love listening to all your commentary. 👍😍 Thank You for sharing your work.
