Lojo I not a pro but I would have went with a extra fast or fast action rod for finesse sensitivity. Spinning reels are a whole nother story. I think quality reel is a luxury that will help you land that bigum.

Lojo, my man, as a hillbilly creek fisherman from Tennessee, I can tell you that you need a white rooster tail and a yellow rooster tail 😁. If there is any species around you, you'll catch em on a tail. Another great video! Keep it up!

Lots of good tips for folks who never fished in a creek before. Also like how you walked down the creek and shows how dangerous it really could be with the different depths without you knowing and that's a very good thing for people to know is that creeks are at different depths and you don't know the depths in an unfamiliar creek you should have a pole of some kind or use your big net pole so you can feel the ledge where it'll drop off. Rooster tail is my favorite exploratory lure I have caught small brim to 4 1/2 lb bass. If the fishing is slow I recommend everyone giving the rooster tail a try
