30 year old boats kick ass!! Problem is most fiberglass boats of that era have wood stringers under the floor and in the transom. Once the fiberglass floor cracks or holes are drilled into it to mount seats etc the wood stringers underneath rot and the boat is junk. Stringers run from bow to transom and give the hull it's structure, like the 2x4 studs in your houses walls. I've redone stringers before.... Tons of work and very costly. Most rigs aren't worth it, the monarch was shot from the get go, you can tell when Ayo was cleaning it out that the stringers were rotted. The boat in my profile pic is a 91 Ranger I restored, sh&t ton of work but it's cool floating in an old retro boat that looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. Awesome pod guys!!

I have an older fiberglass boat and left the plug out but noticed before disconnecting the strap, it was about half full in just a couple seconds. Pulled the trailer with boat still attached, let it drain back out put the plug in and fished the rest of the day in a clean boat lol. Haven't done it again since. Lesson definitely learned. The plug is the very first thing I make sure I do when putting the boat in the water lol.

the boat motor seal around the haul was probably cracked and is why it had more water inside after the the launch thats probably how it sunk so fast it was coming in from the back so that be my guess but anyone saying its fake well then take a 1982 boat from the woods drag it into some water and wear your life jacket cause its going to sink as well..
