Loki has been released into Marvel Snap! He is a 3 cost 5 power card that has the on reveal ability replace your hand with cards from your opponents starting deck and give them - 1 cost. This creates some of the most fun interactions and plays that I've ever done in Marvel Snap. There's something so satisfying about beating your opponent with their own cards. Oh yeah and he buffs collector as well for every card he replaced!

6:26 very interesting interaction! When gamma lab changed your copy of their Silk into Hulk, it removed their Silk from the card and replaced the background with the Hulk background! Maybe its lame and im easily amused but that's so interesting that it changed their Silk even though it started in their deck. It's either an interaction from Mirage's exact phrasing or it's because your copy of their Silk revealed before theirs did, either way SO COOL!!!!!

High evo is a good loki counter because it gives them the unmodified version of the cards if they loki. So they still get cheap things but wont be as powerful

yeah i feel a lot of plp are learning that loki on 3 isnt alwasys correct it depends on opp deck and your hand, but so far this card makes an already fun game even better bc it makes every game feel different with the play patterns it provides. Definately best pass card since nebula.

For me, the best run has been: Turn 1: Quinjet Turn 2: Armor (protect quinjet) or Quinjet if not played on turn 1 Turn 3: Coulsen Turn 4: Agent 13 + Loki this makes turns 5 and 6 absolutely nutty

The card is immensely fun. You have something similar to me atm. I’m trying more of the Dino/Agents of Shield deck with him in it. No Kitty or Angela just use of 13, Coulson, Sentinel, Cable (No Mirage) really helps and honestly Cable -> Loki can be tremendous value just because you are sniping a card from the top of their deck and they don’t know what it is 🙃

I hope to get to Infinite soon... I want to try Loki-Thanos deck (you fill in hand with Stones and then change those stones to opponent's cards ) It will be interesting to see if Loki will be used more than previous Pass cards... maybe Moebius will truly become a "must-have" card? I tried Thanos Loki last night. Fun when it hits, but I was teching in a Killmonger because board space became an issue. Tried an Agatha deck too...

at current meta, I find cosmo to be the main card in every deck. I always met destroy deck and hela combo. cosmo always disrupt their combo and make sure I get 4-8 cubes.

Playing the modok Magik hela deck with tribunal and it's absolutely broken, gameplay feels like old school galactus. Draw your combo, play it, if they don't have cosmo it's an easy snap and 8 cubes

Loki replaces the amount of cards in your hand with cards from the opponents deck. If you have 5 cards in hand then you get 5 new cards from the opponents deck.

He is great now but his counter card is coming in mobious beware this won't always be his full ability bc of this counter card. So I think Goin foward the loki decks have to have a play line against certain decks were looking isn't played at all because of morbious or any match up where playing looking would cause a disadvantage but against most deck playing looking is a huge advantage. The decknneed to have other win conditions considering in certain matches the looking effect itself will not even be played and will just sit in your hand and you still haven't be able to win that way too.

That's where coulsen, fury, and dino come in. The first 2 introduce other play lines and the dino in a draw deck is just great. If you're playing against Mobius, save your loki for turn 6 to buff your collector

Alioth sounds scary if you like Electro ramp/Galactus, otherwise I think Mobius is going to shift the meta game in a huge way since he works with wave!

grats. i would say likely Alioth if you have enough tokens for Ravonna and MMM which are series 4 so only 3k tokens. if you dont have the tokens i think all 3 of those cards are whorthwhile most likely. wait till end of the week when they come out to be sure they are good cards as otherwise its a risk as you never know. and try and have 4 stocked so your not just rolling badly on variants.

@@stay2593 yes. you can not use them and stack them up. Since 1 week of spotlight caches has 4 options. if you really want a specific card. you really should if able have 4 caches available before opening. otherwise you are opening with the potential of not getting what you want and just wasting your caches. there are tons of videos out about how you should manage your opening of spotlight caches that i recommend if your f2p so you dont waste them and have feel bads. also usage varies depending on where you are in your collection. ie still in pool 3. or pool 3 complete etc..

Anything that draws cards. Cable, maria hill, agent 13, etc. The downside is that you're now only drawing 1 card instead of 2

You can! I like chavez to help get collector/looking early more often but legion is great as well if you find you aren't running loki all that often

Great video, I see Loki being nerfed, great base statline and the fact his discount also stacks with Quinjet, while also being able to reduce cards to 0 cost is just too much value. I see them capping cost to 1 minimum as well as removing Loki's cost reduction, or at least pulling it back.
