Could be the 1904 Worlds Fair held in St Louis, 1915 San Francisco or 1934 Chicago, all of which the main focus was on the future technology with such inventions as the telephone. Seems to be setting up somewhere in there with Victor Timely(Kang) and his time travel invention

As for the jet ski thing possibly paying off, when Loki timeslips he does pop in front of "Piranha Powersports" which sure looks like a jet ski dealership! And it's hard to tell, but if you squint behind him for that brief second of the shot, there miiiiiiiiiiiight be a familiar person back there maybe. :)

Per Fandom: (1) Brad Wolfe is an actor for the movie The Zaniac! as the lead role, who is being hunted by the Time Variance Authority. (2) the comics, Brad Wolfe was an actor who portrayed a serial killer named Zaniac; however, he soon became possessed by the real Zaniac, a demonic entity hailing from the Dark Dimension. (So maybe he’s connected to Mephisto who will be played by Sasha Baron Cohen?)

I think Loki travels back in time at the end of season 1. It’s not a different TvA it’s the same just possibly centuries before Loki landed there in 2012. So the mobius that Loki has in season 2 is the same Möbius but back when the TVA was in its infancy.
