Hi. At the beginning of your video, you said if you are into designing your own svgs, this might not be the cutter for you. Why is that?

You would have to design your SVGs in a different program not the program that comes with this cutter however, you can import your own designs, so just know that the program that comes with it is not as user-friendly as the Cricut Design Space.

Can i use an iron to do the lettering on the bag or would i have to have a heat press to do those?

You can use a regular iron with iron vinyl lettering, you just might have to press it for a longer time if your iron does not get hot enough. I have used the mini heat press and that worked great. You can get one of those for $20- $30 dollars. The most important thing is the heat and that your iron gets hot enough. Great question!

It can cut the same material as a Cricut but less money. It does not have all the same functions as a Cricut so seeping on what you are needing a cutting machine for, I would suggest comparing the two machines and doing your homework before purchasing. Thank you for the question and watching! ❤️❤️

Will this machine cut rhinestone templates as long as they are svg files?

I don’t know what rhinestone templates are. But yes it’s an SVG file it will cut it.

Hi! Ive just returned my explore 3 today as it would not work properly with the print and cut (the print!) And im very cricut design space tired now 😅 So im now looking into getting this loklik or getting a silhouette portrait 3. Would love to hear your suggestions!

Well, I’ve only used cricket products. I can’t tell you anything about silhouette, but I will tell you that silhouette and cricket are the front runners in this space so I would go with one of their products. LokLik it’s just now coming onto the market and it is brand new cricket and silhouette have been around for years so if I’m going to spend the money, I would spend it on one of those two products. I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem with the cricket 3 I just got one for Christmas and I haven’t even opened the box yet, so I guess I better break it open. 🤔❤️❤️

Can this machine also be used to cut paper lettering etc. like a die cut press?

Yes, it can cut vinyl and paper, like scrapbooking paper. For the money I would go ahead and by a Cricut, only because I feel like their design space is easier to use. Thank you for watching! ❤️

I don’t know if because Lycra or not. Have any to try. it did not come with a rotary blade. I have to check the website to see if one is available I believe so, but I’m not 100% certain.
