The way this glitch works is that as long as those chunks aren't being actively loaded the game assumes that the rod is still effecting the pressure plate. A std::array has constant initialization and might actually be better than std::unordered_set if the number of banned words is small enough, with the caveat that the output executable will be larger.

6:55 this does indeed still work. the portal needs to be a chunk loader tho and you need to go through it and then exit through another portal far away. also the fishing-rod thing has to be exactly in the border of normal chunks and lazy chunks loaded by this chunk loader. when going through the portal, the fishing rod will be stuck in lazy chunks and "frozen", allowing it to stay connected as long as the player itsself doesnt load the chunk. pulling the fishing rod activates the pressure plate (lazy chunks load blocks but not entities, the fishing pole is considered an entity) with then triggers the pearl stasis chamber. you can look up a yt tutorial for more detailed info.

I’m confused cause this looks like an old setup for the fishing rod trick that that has been patched (more complex variants may still work), but maybe the patch broke again (update suppression was re-added for 1.20) This bug requires a portal cause the game does some weird stuff witch tracking bobbers across dimensions (if you have a discord i can send you some videos on many different designs for this, code breakdowns for why this works, etc.)

for the fishing rod stasis chamber it works by using a glitch you set the statis camber up with the fishing rod then while it is still on the pressure plate go into the nether it will do a weird thing where now you can take the fishing rod out of your hand, but the game will still think it's bobber is on the pressure plate then anywhere in the same dimension, as long as the chunk is loaded i think, use the fishing rod and it should teleport you if everything works accordingly
