@@eddiejohn7744 I always knew since the song came out. I'm 63 too and still love this song irrespective of the writer's experience. Crying Game sped-up. I never judge....

I have been so lucky to see The Kinks perform at SPAC several times. They are one of the greatest live bands I have ever watched!! Not to mention I grew up listening to all their albums!!

Thank You Pastel Grape, this came out when I was 16; your version took me back Heart and Soul cruising to it in 1970 PS I never really thought about whether this song had an official video, and just watched the graphic novel version for the first time. This song came out before MTV started telling us what our visual image should be instead of what we thought; I like the way you show what yours is.

Aha. This must be an album track, as the single has "Cherry Cola, and not "Coca Cola." From Wikipedia "Ray Davies claimed to have done "a bit of research with drag queens" for the song's lyrics.[15] He has denied claims that the song was written about a date between himself and Candy Darling" Candy Darling was one of Andy Warhol's entourage. She/he Is mentioned in Walk on The Wild Side by Lou Reed. His band The Velvet underground had a song called Sister Ray, which I read somewhere is supposed to be about Ray Davies.

Original version said Coca Cola and that’s what this version says just like the original lyrics and Not, tastes like Cherry Cola …hahaha, no vaporizers back in 69-70 folks.

@@antoniodelrey164 It’s a recreation of the video, and multiple videos that have similar shots and style. There’s more here that doesn’t fit the 60s-70s theme than just the vape pen. It’s a recreation.
