I find the question about "all in philosophy" to be super interesting. I'd like to reference another Canadian that had two passions and wasnt willing to push one away for the other as a backup. Laurent Duvernet-Tardif is a guard player for the KC Chiefs. He is the first active roster member of the NFL to also finish his medical degree and begin his medical residency while also winning a superbowl this season. I think he is the perfect example of going all in in multiple places as long as you have that drive. He has made it happen also at the highest level and I think people should learn from this to take more confidence with them when they are committing to something they really wish to happen! Congrats to Dr. Duvernet-Tardif and Licorice!

@24:20 That seems to confirm my suspicion that Licorice wanted Sneaky out not because of a performance thing but a team atmosphere thing. Add to Jack telling people to "Leave my son alone!" regarding Licorice in HLL'S Discord and I'm willing to bet Licorice didn't like how Sneaky acted about success and failure, feeling he was too relaxed about it, and felt he needed to go. The reality, though, is that Sneaky has ALWAYS taken the game seriously, but he's been around long enough to know that you don't need to eat, sleep, and breath every mistake and success to improve or be good. In short: Licorice: Raid leader that takes his role as leader like it has real value and only wants to raid with his hardcore 'alpha squad'. Has a desktop full of DPS meters to hold over everyone's head. Sneaky: Raid leader that takes new comers into the raids and wants people to do their best. Doesn't matter how fast it gets done or if everyone's gear is 'optimized', but wants to see the win nonetheless and is willing to discuss ways new people can do better.

"Look at cloud 9 with Sneaky and say here are the things that didnt work so well" Yeah no. Nothing that "didn't work well" on C9 was sneaky's fault. It was your org pairing him with a support that didnt compliment his playstyle and held him back. Not to mention you and the rest of the team never gave him resources. And the one or two games you DID he carried. Every pro and every analyst worth their salt have agreed that Sneaky is a better player than Zven. It was the fault of C9 that Sneaky's mental was affected and that he was placed in an environment where he felt noone believed in him. I really hope that whatever team he ends up on next absolutely smashes C9 into the ground
@cftncfjlphgfb5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you know more than the staff and team that has played with sneaky for 2 years with data from thousands of scrims. Stay delusional, hope youre not a c9 fan anymore
@ObiWanShinobi9175 жыл бұрын
C9 Staff vs Jatt, Dash, CF, Kobe, Doublelift, Meteos, T1, QT, and literally everyone else who has consistently ranked Sneaky as #2? Not to mention he was in challenger before Zven this season. And he has gone up against DL Aphelios several times in lane and won thus far? I'll take the word of pros who actually look at data AND play the game vs a staff full of people who probably aren't even Diamond.
@NYCFenrir5 жыл бұрын
If you are going to use a quote, you should correctly quote what he said. He said Sneaky did great things and that there were some things that didn't work well. Don't paint it like he said that things didn't go well because of Sneaky. Licorice was saying keep the good and get rid of the bad that the players had in order to improve.
@karsonkammerzell69555 жыл бұрын
@@cftncfjlphgfb To do realize the staff's hands were tied right? Licorice, and possibly Nisqy, mentioned to the staff they didn't want to play with Sneaky and Zeyzal, so their options were to ignore the request and shatter the team mental as a whole or see how the team worked with a new bot. The staff didn't decide Sneaky needed replacing on their own; they were told by 'certain teammates' did not want to PLAY with him and Zeyzal and the staff had to navigate that. Sneaky said the day he found out they replaced him was when they signed Zven. No one actually mentioned it ahead of time. On top of that Sneaky even said he'd have been fine fighting for the starting position if 'those teammates' had said he was underperforming, but they didn't; they said they did not want to play with him, period. Staff was stuck. Data would have showed he rocked lane every time they gave him resources. Data would have shown more positive performance with aggressive supports. Stay ignorant.
@LordTenma5 жыл бұрын
Nothing? How can you know that nothing of whatever happened was Sneaky's fault? Unless you are/were part of the team you can't really say which parts of all the problems were his fault or not
