Yeah I felt it, specially with the conversation preparations before the makeup. How they summarize what they will talk about, but live on air they have to expand on those prepared topics. These people are great on air talent. I hope we get something similar for NA. So interesting seeing them pre-makeup and pre-wardrobe changes. They are just like us. Even Sjokz mentions she doesn't know if she stands with her legs too forward or too open. These little things that humanize them more, with anxieties and fears just like every normal person! Thanks so much Riot for being the best gaming company!!!

How do they possibly handle those nerves, I would be crazily overwhelmed
@MaxedEntropy6 жыл бұрын
If you practise infront of coworkers often enough it probably isnt that much of a difference to do it infront of a camera, i assume they try not to think about the live crowd that much xD
@EmperorVigor6 жыл бұрын
Practice makes perfect, also, I think you'll get used to it eventually. At least some!

Exposure. Keep at it and the feeling becomes normal. Everyone who first does public speaking is going to be super nervous, after you've done it 100 times, not so much.

Just look at people like Freeze, Kold or Amazing, they are fairly new to this, with an additional language barrier, and they are a lot more insecure. Especially Amazing, I'm surprised he made this step to become an analyst and caster, he seems a bit awkward. I guess time will tell if gets really used to it.
@EmperorVigor6 жыл бұрын
How many times have I not thought about this! Can we have some insight about those not seen on camera? How the "control room" work, how they think about things live, what camera shots to use etc? I mean, we saw so many camera during the LCS EU final that you have to ask yourself about how they work to pick what of those hundreds of clips to show. Really interesting!

I have no idea how you thought that tbh. You don't come anywhere near LCS levels of production without hundreds of hours put in.

It is extremely difficult to talk randomly because you will definitely get stuck somewhere along the way

Jannik Ostermann - To be fair, though; it used to be all just 'off the cuff' back in the day when it was pretty much just Deman and Joe Miller doing the Shoutcasting solo. I'm pretty sure even back when they added Jason and Quickshot it was still mostly just done on the fly. And though that was 5 or so years ago; it was still only 5 or so years ago.

Really cool video folks! As with so many things in life, most people only see the results and never what it took to get there. All the long hours of practice, content creation, collaboration, and so forth, generally go unseen by the majority of people.
