great analysis! this song (or meme) is imo the thing that took the whole mesugaki/bratty child joke to the mainstream especially for the western side of the fandom even if they dont like looking at stuff like this. I just find it crazy, everything about it. How Ui or how JP's use the rape whistle as an inside joke, the teasing part and how this is kinda an open secret for lolicons who like it. It's a complex topic to discuss on the internet no matter which side youre on. personally I just dont want to deal with this pro loli/anti loli stuff. only thing i will take is that Ui is a great internet personality and the animation for that is hella smooth. thanks for the vid udin!

@@udinchwan I am unfortunately stuck in brainrot hell when it comes to the anti/pro loli debates. I think people should just have a middle ground where they can acknowledge that the fetish is weird and not everyone has to like it instead of just watering down the word PDF File (don't wanna use the actual word so YT doesn't take down the comment). It's something i wish that could be nuanced instead of assume that just because you don't like it you are a anti or just because you don't think its a Cheese Pizza, that you are Pro. This is easily the best video I've seen explaining Loli God Requiem so far. Even though you have your own personal stance on the subject (same as mine), you're still able to be very impartial on the topic rather than bend towards one bias and get to the truth in the middle. Had to sub to you just for that. But I think loli does refer more to the age a character appears to be, not their size. SD (super deformed) was the common descriptor for "shrunken" anime characters (i.e. SD Gundam). The original meaning of "loli" was shorthand for characters that are like "Lolita" from the Russian novel of the same name (who was 12/13 iirc), meaning underaged but still young teenaged characters who are sexual/sexualized in some way, and "lolicon" means "lolita complex". It was first applied to characters that came out of 70s shojo (girls) manga, believe it or not, written by women, and 80s mahou shoujo (magical girl) characters like Minky Momo and Creamy Mami who had a lot of adult male fans, apparently, and I think it was only those who sexualized them who applied the term "loli" to them, they weren't designed to be appealing in that way. Over time, for a lot of people, it somehow came to refer to "any little girl anime character", usually sexualized but even sometimes not, and more likely less than teenaged, and "lolicon" became colloquially interchangeable with pedo, even though Japanese already has a word for it, and even though Lolita's story was more accurately about Ephebophilia. The male counterpart of this was "shota" and "shotacon", referring to a popular classic anime boy named "Shotaro". Some people who are fans of loli characters say things like "loli are for headpats" or "don't lewd the lolis", either ironically or unironically, not sure... this lack of hard definition and changing description or view of what "loli" really is makes for a lot of internet arguments over whither certain characters are "really loli" or not (at least in English circles). As for the song, after everything I know of its background, I don't think it's for or against lolicon, I just think it's supposed to be funny. It's more like a parody or dark humor. Maybe there's some actual lolicon who like 9yo Ui and like the song or maybe even hate the song for the same reason, who knows? But they're likely in the minority of her fanbase. I think most people go along with the roleplay and teasing for the lulz/wwwws. The view of "loli" characters is very different in Japan than westerns might perceive it because it's influenced by Japanese "kawaii culture" and "moe", things that don't really exist in the mainstream of cultures outside of Japan. Japanese sense of humour is, of course, also different from mainstream western humour. All that said, even ask any prominent western comedian about whither anything should be off limits when it comes to humour and most of them will say "no" "free speech" and all that (hell they came up with way sicker humour, like "The Aristocrats".... don't look it up unless you know how to erase your own mind).

This song could both be pro and anti lolicon, because honestly, it not only actually exposes real creeps by them outting themselves but also a "I feel uncomfortable by your actions" sort of thing. It gives off THE DRESS argument years back. Is it black and blue? White and gold? Idk...perspectives of things are a thing...like the lyrics can be used as Anti-Loli if this song was sang by an adult woman and changed some things...but you get what I mean.

They aren't going to openly speak about it in public, but the internet is a free-for-all, and UI-mama showed her lolicon hentai doujins on stream before. I think it's a good time to figure out if you are an actual Anime/Japanese entertainment fan or not. If you can't accept the degen culture over there, you aren't gonna like their stuff. These are the guys who have a Penis, Boobs, and Vagina festival where they carry statue-looking objects of those things. You gotta understand yourself better and ask yourself if their culture is something you're interested in or if you're just going with the flow of the trend, without knowing what you're getting into.

It's really not anti lolicon lol. The song is suppose to be a parody of the mesugaki/bratty child trope. Which is a thing lolicons find to be an attractive fetish and is what Ui Shigure is playing into. Not to mention that it all stems from a inside joke thats between her and her community.

It might be confusing because the male background voices in the song usually respond happily whenever she says something bad about them ("tskr!"), so it's like the song is meant for masochistic lolicon who enjoy being called garbage/scum by little girls? It was never made for a mainstream audience in the first place, the artists behind it, including UI, are shocked it blew up. I think it's neither supporting nor against anything, it's just dark humour. But if people can get different meanings from the song based on their perspective then that's like art, weirdly enough.
