I wasn0t into lolita fashion yet last time I went to Osaka. So I missed on all of this. I can0t wait to go back. I only knew about Closet child. Do you know if any of these other shops have branches in Tokyo or other cities?
@ashuribear34353 жыл бұрын
Closet child has three locations in tokyo so just go to all of them 😁 i haven’t found any other good stores in tokyo but “hard off” can have a few surprise finds. Also shimokitazawa has some really adorable thrift shops, altho they are a little more mainstream. I did find liz lisa and bobon21 at them tho.

@@chess4072 I hope I can go to japan some day, I'll probably need to bring an extra suitcase I can fill with beautiful dresses
@chess40725 жыл бұрын
@@flamebloom4659 ikr! Like you can maybe bring an empty suitcase just for your lolita dresses! Srsly tho, lolita can be expensive!!! Some can be up to $500! But $20 for a lolita dress is just wow. I love going to japan, especially because my aunt and uncle live there and they can speak japanese. Last time i went to japan i went to an arcade with my brother and aunt and it was sooo nice!

Did those secondhand shops allow you to try things on or do you need to go in knowing what might fit or not?
@ashuribear3435 Жыл бұрын
Most all items you can try on, but i think closet child in omotesando and shinjuku don’t let you use the fitting room atm

Since you are in japan I would love to see what you look like in a kimono or would that be appropriate for a non Japanese person to walk around wearing a kimono in japan

How much does a lolita dress cost in one of this thrift stores? Is it really a lower price? Love your outfits BTW😍

Ericka Lozano Balderas awe thank you and thanks for watching 💕 the lolita dresses ranged anywhere from $40 for off brand to $300 (us dollars) for btssb. It really depends on the brand and the condition of the dress but you can find some super good hidden deals!

My Twin says these are expensive. But turns out you can thrift shop this style in Japan. However I didn't know this is what people call Lolita. Pretty disturbing. I just think of it as young, innocent and small, not lolita. Esp because finding adult style clothes in my size that look beautiful is practically impossible where I live.

As a Japanese, I always wonder why Japan in the Far East invented Lolita fashion following the Victorian era, which originated in Europe. Westerners such as the British should have created that fashion style earlier than the Japanese! I think Ashuri and white girls fit it than Japanese girls.
@ashuribear34354 жыл бұрын
Caroline Japanese Evans good insight :) i think european style in general got really basic because of world war 1 and military clothing. But i do wonder why our clothing is so basic even nowadays. I think it fits both asian and european girls very well but thank you ^///^💕
