what is your opinion on age vs lolita outfits? im almost 28 and i have never had a chance to wear lolita but i would love to someday. do you think there comes an age when youre too old to wear lolita, or do you think anyone can wear lolita and pull it off nicely?

Oh my gosh no there is definitely no age restriction to lolita fashion! In our community we have one lady who (not to be rude trying to guess her age) but she might be 45 to 60 and she's a life style lolita who wears it daily 😍 she really suits it and dawns a more porcelain doll makeup style. I feel like if you weren't sure what sub style to start with maybe have a look into classic lolita as I feel it can suit mature humans although honestly I'll be wearing sweet till I'm wrinkly so don't let that restrict you!! There is no time like the present man and personally I fear regret a lot more than what others may think, this is your one life live it for you!! 💖💖💖

I started wearing it at 30...I have been interested in the fashion for over 10 years but never had the chance/money to actually wear it until I turned 30. And it feels right. Better do it than later regret not doing it at all.

Anon i mean to be fair lolita fashion isnt on the same level as "lolita" in a pedophiliac way. that being said, now that im in my late twenties im less comfortable hanging with teenagers as i used to be, mostly because of the age span and maturity span, but i feel like theres also nothing wrong with being casual friends online with the younger fandom/lolita population. just as long as clear boundaries are set and knowing when to draw the line as far as interactions go.

Aw man these are my fave earrings!! 😍 Hehe I had mine pierced as a baby (tradition in Argentina) so I was lucky ^^ I've heard people suggest getting it done by needle and not a piercing gun as the gun can cause scare tissue but I don't really know much about it!
