One of the best sounding pickups ever. I wish wider range pickups with slug pole pieces like this, the DeArmond, jazzmaster pickups were more popular.

Really great review, and you're such a relaxed, natural player. I'm a Fender guy but I just got an older PRS custom semi-hollow that I like but it needs help. I never liked the sound of a humbucker in the bridge because I can't live without that country twang, so a set of these should do the trick and this video helped me decide.

Thanks for posting this! I have a body for a tele routed for humbuckers, but recently decided I wanted to throw a classic tele single coil in the bridge. Unfortunately, I’d have to cut out some of the wood in the pickup cavity to fit a single coil. I stumbled across this video and now I’m sold… definitely going to snag a Novel T. Going to make my project so much easier. Thanks man!

Guitar into jrockett blue note (gain all the way up) into a jhs morning glory. Hall of Fame reverb into a Fender pro jr iii (the 4s do not sound close).. in a 112 cab with a greenback. Same setup as now. No post eq

It balances very well with the middle and neck pups. I like the my bridge pups to be slightly louder and thicker than middle and neck and this does the trick.
