East Fife was probably my favourite FM save iv ever done. On FM 23 ended up winning the champions league with them. Took many seasons lol

Methil is one of the most depressing places on earth. The river (and the town) called Leven is pronounced Lee-ven. It's hilarious that your first ever trip to Scotland will be to visit that hellhole. Leven is nicer, relatively speaking so I'd suggest you either stay there or in the bigger town of Kirkcaldy (pronounced Kir-coddy) further down the coast.

I lived in kirkcaldy for many a year and Methil is 100% the worst place on the planet 😂😂

@@StewartyMac Where I’m born and bred but have since moved away. Yeah it’s rare you’ll hear someone call it by it’s full name, for the younger generation it’s “Anster” for the older, it’s “Enster”. And I agree, best chip shop I’ve ever come across personally, may be a tad biased though.

lol, the last lower league away day I did was east fife supporting Elgin City. Back in 2004 I think. Bread rolls are softies up the east coast of Scotland. I’ve taken Elgin to the championship back to back so far. Remember trialists can play in league games in Scottish leagues 1&2.

East Fife was the first save I ever did, way back in FM14. I got fired quickly and in hindsight, I should have chosen an easier club but my ancestors are from the Fife area.

Because in America you have massive cars that are built for it and long straight roads so you literally just have to point the car in the direction you’re going and turn your brain off. 6 hours of driving here is 6 hours of constant acceleration, deceleration, roundabouts, sitting behind tractors and queuing, all whilst being folded into a tiny little car that I can straighten my legs in!
