I keep saying this…. This is their FIRST EVER GAME they have made for us fans of boxing. The fact that y’all are trashing on them this much is sad and shows how ungrateful y’all are. Is the game amazing? No. Are there issues? Yes. I still find the game fun though, and there are ways around the bugs and inconsistencies of this game. I have no issues using Loma, y’all just don’t understand how the game plays. The tracking is definitely an issue along with some other things, but overall I have fun playing this game and I’m thankful I have a boxing game to play on PS5.

A very important tip I've found that works. At the start of a ranked match you can message your opponent (During the walk in) and if you message them "Please don't quit" 95% of the time they will respond and won't quit. It's made the game a lot more enjoyable for me

And that is exactly what I’ve been saying. The stamina issue is too strong. Loma doesn’t throw a lot of power punches. He throws a lot of regular accurate punches hooks, diagonal punches the game stamina makes him totally ineffective.

If undisputed could have stole one thing from fight night I would have loved for it to be stamina in some cases. You should not be able to throw power punches in round 8 like it’s round 1. The punches should come out a tad slower with less damage because you are tired 🤦🏽‍♂️

I've been going on about fighters like Loma etc in the discord..as someone who watches boxing every other weekend and am a massive fan of Loma..it's crucial they nail down better head movement animations so he can make opponents miss who just want too do unnatural combos, and too get on the inside and close the distance too get his counters off...the taller fighter or out boxer has all the advantages in this game and that's my style but good head movement is pivotal too help shorter guys get inside and land combos/counters that look authentic

That's one thing with this game, some fighters IRL styles are incompatible with the way this game works. On a similar vein, I really was looking forward to trying out Bivol, but this game really doesn't let you emulate his in-and-out style.

Good point ,..in flat foot it's a crime that they can still pop out fast power hooks, Double power hooks wtf. Flat foot should mean slow and damage reduced hits across the board

There is no clinch. The ref will stop it but you really have to cause major cuts and eye shuts. I've won one fight by stoppage in 160hrs. It needs improvement

*This fight you had with amir khan PROVED UNDISPUTED DIDNT FIX SPAMMING IMO, your opponent was spamming left hook the whole fight and that why i go through online, ill outbox and go to the body and break down my opponent and the game will still allow my opponents online to get flash knockdowns on me after making them miss several power hooks late in the fight smh this game needs ALOT OF WORK*

It's simpler than that. This game rewards brawling more than jabs and straights. If the fighter is known for that (like Bivol), you're cooked.

Another fighter that was done dirty was Joe Calzaghe. They labeled him as a Slugger when he clearly was a boxer puncher with speed and infighting ability. Just not quite sure where the points of reference SCI used to apply traits and attributes to these fighters. Crawford being penalized of stamina after rd 6 is blasphemy.

In real life Deontay Wilder is arguably even clumsier than Marciano as far as footwork go. There are many other issues too like Joe Frazier was able to get up from the floor 7 times in his match with Foreman when the fight was stopped via TKO. However in the game he can only get up 5 times tops. Same problem with Floyd Patterson.

It's too much like sword fighting at times because everything is so based on outside fighting..better head movement animations where you can actually roll under a straight backhand and turn your back leg too get you more on the inside too land uppercuts or body hooks is needed massively for me so it can look authentic

I feel like it’s hard to translate high volume pressure fighters to video games. I think his particular skill set makes it even more difficult because the pressure is supposed to help him move around other fighters and you can’t really play him that way in the game.

This Game was Good until after patch. My son just with 12 rounds with the CPU and he knocked the CPU out 6 to 7 times. The CPU kept getting up and his stamina was 97 after 12 rounds………😮

Other than that I got whooped playing with Loma. He can’t reach his opponent with his short arms if someone plays on the outside. I couldn’t touch the body and he misses almost everything. 8:33 I’m not saying they did an amazing job with him or anything like that, but there’s a reason why he moves that well in that fast and loose footwork. It’s literally how he fights. He’s always fighting in angles and directions and never stops moving. So this is really how you’re supposed to fight with him. He risks taking damage, use loose footwork, and looks to slip punches and counter. He is a retaliatory fighter and very strategic. Basically what it comes down to beyond the tracking issues you’re talking about is just really not liking his place style. He’s not a flat footed fighter. I don’t know if you’re a real boxing fan or if you just like boxing video games but there’s a reason why he fights the way he does in the game

Ive lost most of my enthusiasm for this game. Between all the games issues and the countless numbers of quitters and cheesers playing the game is becoming a chore to play. I have a great record but my record feels absolutely empty because while ive fought a few top level guys 90% of my wins are against bums!

Loma’s bad because his moving hooks are bad. They cut the wrong angles. His footwork defensively is good in the game but it’s essentially unusable for offense because his arms are so short. He’s a front footed fighter exclusively that’s being handicapped by moving punches that don’t land in a back footed game.

Lomachenko is not the typical fighter. Don't play him like the rest of the cast. When using Lomachenko, you have to play him as Hwoarang. Despite him not having a Switch Hitter trait, you have to occasionally switch stances to fit his walking and dodging animations. You also need to take advantage of his quick dodges (i.e. sidesteps and backdashes). Bait your opponents into thinking they can reach you. Once they throw a heavy shot, counter with a lunge attack and then combo off that initiative. That is the key to Lomachenko. He is actually good.

Isn't this guy like one of the shortest in his division with one of the shortest reaches? Tried to play with him and the main problem was one of reach, not just the punch tracking. I was able to throw some nice combinations with him though, but sadly they came in between missing most of his punches, so I'd already lost the rounds. Yeah the tracking in this game is severely broken, so that's actually compounded when using boxers with the reach disadvantage, sadly.
