I discovered this last year. I buy it from my local chemist for $9 aud. I only get about 2/3 hours on my skin but for the price I can't complain. Then I spray on some PRPH when it starts to wear off. The perfect layering.

I appreciate this kind of a fragrance review where the current formulation is compared to the vintage formulation. I love the vintage formulation of Drakkar Noir so I do search, sometimes, for fragrances which are like it. Lomani Pour Homme sounds like it is similar to Drakkar Noir, so I might give it a try.

Thanks for this review. In Australia, this is a "chemist" (drug store) fragrance. It's ridiculously cheap, under A$10 (about US$7) for 100mL. I noticed it only because it's so cheap. I never tried it because I assumed it was a horrible cheap fragrance. After this review, I'm going to get one :) Great review.

Yes a bottle alone here is about $8, definitely check it out, it’s nothing ground breaking obviously but it definitely punches above its weight class and I really enjoy it as a clean masculine classic cheapie scent. Can wear it any time anywhere and it always works.

I've been wearing Lomani a few days now and just got my first compliment. I got the compliment after a full day of working and sweating, so Lomani's performance is definitely pretty good. I wanted Lomani to be one of my daytime after shower scents and it looks like it will fit that role nicely.

I bought the current formulation a while back after seeing your review of it and I have honestly probably worn it to work 3 or 4 days a week all summer.. It can be hard to find masculine fragrances that are appropriate for hot humid weather in the south but this one just works. It's fresh and clean while being unmistakably masculine.

I literally use it like an aftershave. I put so much on because I only get about 30 min of projection and maybe 2 hours of longevity, but it is a glorious 2 hours!! Great video! I have the new version, so I guess I’ll try the vintage next.

I just got it (the current one) and I really like it... Although I was disappointed by the base notes. I was expecting a very green fragrance but one which would develop from a citric light blue-green at the opening to a herbal light green at the heart, all this accompanied by a woody dark green at the base. However, the base notes supposed to add the darker woody adult and masculine tones (Moss, Patchouli) are too weak, thus the fragrance remains very bright light herbal green for most of its performance. Very fresh and clean opening, then very herbal and aromatic green, but that's it, it doesn't develop into darker and more mature colors as the base notes and the bottle color suggested.

I just bought Lomani ph and boy am i glad i did. First impression i freaking love it more than Drakkar! Especially the opening. It smells so smooth and fresh.... Like the best possible smelling shaving cream. Probably my best fragrance purchase of 2023

I would definitely recommend to you to buy a travel atomizer. They are fantastic to carry the cologne you’re wearing in your pocket and if you want to reapply you can.

This is the first perfume i bought for myself. And i was blown away by the smell. Still gives me nostalgia. Sadly, where i live, very few talk about this perfume. After reformulation the performance have been compromised. It hardly stays 2 hrs on skin, on clothes for 3 hrs in closed conditions. I live in hot weather place so considering that its okay. Anyways, Nice review, mate. Good job!

Actually, I tried Lomani's body-spray. It was awesome. As you said it is a fresh scent and I love it. Yes it is close to Drakkar Noir cologne. I will try to buy it. Its so cheap and the performance and quality is so great, it is definitely a smart buy for people who are at the tight budget. I m requesting you to please make a video for inexpensive fragrances that are good quality and worth buying.e.g; (Denim) In this way one doesn't have buy expensive to smell good.

Another awesome comparison. Loving the comments section in these vids too. Very helpful. Never smelled the vintage, but I certainly didn't know it was so cheap. Big fan of Body & Soul from the brand, which imo is an excellent synthetic mashup of Spicebomb and Creed's Royal Oud. People around me love the stuff. Shame it's so difficult to find nowadays.

Yeah this is the only Lomani fragrance I own, it’s the one that isn’t a clone directly despite it being in the same vein as Drakkar / Caesars etc. they make quality stuff though for good prices

I just got the current formula today,vi got it as it lists camphor in the notes which is really rare, I have proraso green preshave which also contains camphor and it's a really unique smell, the two work really well together, I think the lomani is a really good drakar style, I wouldn't say copy like alrehab Dakar but it's more complex, the woody dry down makes it more mature and wearable in my opinion, not seen camphor in anything else really, maybe you have some other frags that use this note but I was really surprised to find it, it's nice, vintage stuff is not my thing as am always looking for that one, the signature, the keeper you can get anywhere at a good price and a great smell, but as a fun addition to my collection it's a hit, I keep it in the car for those occasions when I need a spritz to freshen up.

Never smelled this one but i will put it on the to sniff list. I am always looking to boost the troops in my scent armory. SOTD bogart signature from 1975. Probably a challenger to the crown of best cheap fragrence. I got my 100 ml for 17 bucks. Such a steal and i love this fragrence and quite frankly the house of bogart never fails to amaze me. -Ramsey

My bottle of Lomani just came this morning. I love it! It smells great! Honestly, it's very similar to Drakkar Noir to my nose. It also reminds me of air freshener or candle scents like Midsummer's Night from Yankee Candle and that was a pleasant surprise. The bottle is also really cool and looks a lot better than the bottles for a lot of more expensive fragrances. It's a very nice, clean scent. I'm really impressed with Lomani. Honestly, it's hard to justify buying Drakkar Noir now that I know about Lomani, but I will still buy both anyway. Should I buy Bogart Signature or Open by Roger and Gallet next? Or maybe Sung Homme? Which of those 3 would you check out next if you could only buy one?

Thanks for the recommendation! I credit you for turning me on to Lomani and Moustache. I also ordered a sample of Rochas Moustache EDP with my bottle of Lomani and holy hell! That is an amazing fragrance. It would be a great scent to pull out when you want to go to a formal event and stand out with an amazing and unique masculine fragrance. This just came in today. An instant love. This is better than I thought it was gonna be, and it's exactly what I wanted. Very fresh, sharp, crisp and masculine. VERY masculine. Very soapy, and shaving cream smelling. Very happy with this one, and will always have it from now on. Highly recommend. Thanks for the recommendation Kelan. Great review interested in trying this. How about pitty The Man Silver against the current YSL Kouros? I actually believe The Man Silver has more balls and is more in step with the original formulation and is much more powerful and longer lasting. I know you've done a review before but maybe it should be revisited the batches of Man Silver I've got are blowing "new" Kouros out of the water.

Well they both are the same price, you get more for Lomani though, both are similar Scents. I’d go Lomani pour Homme and when it’s done then go for the al rehab. Get the gift set for Lomani though with the body spray for 10$. As far as sites I’m only on Instagram but that one I’m sure is good for selling buying or trading

Hey Kellan. I'm curious to see your take on the original vs reformulated Chanel Egoiste if possible. Many people on fragrantica say new versions are nothing like it was back in the 90's . The reason being this was my father's signature when I was growing up in the 90s. I'd like to buy him a new bottle but not if it's badly reformulated because everyone knows Chanel never gets discounted

You know I do not have a vintage Egoiste but I do have a current formula and I love it, I have the aftershave splash and deodorant stick too. I did a review on it a long time ago, the video is in my old format when I would just do the video in one take not in sections lol but I love the current I think it smells amazing and I have never tried the vintage. I’d say you are safe to buy it as a gift if you can’t sample it first
