1:32 It is not "CD" ghat rather pronounced as "SHE-D" ghat; shidi literally translates to ladder in Marathi, so ladder ghat/ladder route. On the same descent route, there is a fork, whereby a right takes you to the ladder route and a left takes you to the same base village via Ganesh ghat; although, the Ganesh ghat route is thrice as long but very easy. On the shidi ghat/ganesh ghat route, one can also hike up to Padargad (14:46)---an adjacent watch tower. Climbing the last portion of Padargad requires knowhow of Chimney climbing.

Add: Hiking through Shidi ghat and descending through Ganesh ghat is popular monsoon trek. Just a couple of weeks back, we have had an accident here with one dead. Shidi ghat has exposure and is slippery in monsoon.

15:11 Shoes? Naja Naja is common on this trail. Babies are dangerous than adults as they do not know how much venom to inject. In any case, in case of a snake-bite with the big five in the mountains, statistically, the survival chance is an abysmal 1%. Shoes and full-clothed pant and shirt are a first line-of-defense against venomous insects and animals, including honey-bees.

Detailed video 👍..I don't know when did you record this video but I inform you, please be careful in nowadays while reaching bhimashankar through jungle.Forest department already given alert for lepord.To many leopard are spotted near Village of bhimashankar.So take care of that.
