what suprises me is how far away there starting the jump and how far away there landing and clering the jump.

how this sport called??
@kellybarry286610 жыл бұрын
It's not a sport, it's a lifestyle.
@unicornfilms50478 жыл бұрын
most people will say its a sport which it is. You train for it just like swimming or soccer you are putting you're risking your life doing this and i its not a sport then why is it in the Olympics?
@kellybarry28668 жыл бұрын
It's a life style- it's so much more than just riding. Daily stall cleanings, feedings, grooming sessions, and over-all hard work. Equestrians pour their time and energy into horses as it doesn't take up a small portion of our lives- it is our life.
@jjeherrera8 жыл бұрын
+Kelly Barry That's exactly the answer I always give. As opposed to other sports, in which you may just put your gear in the closet when you don't feel like you want to practise it, you can't do such a thing. Even if you have someone to take care of your horses, you need to work them in order to keep them in shape. Then, of course you need to have at least basic notions of veterinary and how to feed your horses, according to their level of work. You end up knowing your horses, just as you'd know your pets; each with its own character and tastes.

Are they hunter jumpers?
@YoinkeeDoink9 жыл бұрын
Abby Loucks Hunter is based on pace, how your horse looks, and style. Show jumping is based purely on time and penalties for refusals/knocked poles.
@YoinkeeDoink9 жыл бұрын
Abby Loucks Also, the hunter is lower because hunter riders are more focused on how everything looks, not getting around the course.

Wow! That was very cool!! I would love to jump on a horse like that! That was very cool! They were very good!
@TommysPride12 жыл бұрын
@Yamlies I don't understand your comment of 'if they don't obey they would be killed'. This isn't racing, this is showjumping. If a horse doesn't possess the talent, they won't be killed, they will simply be re-homed to a more laid back lifestyle. And when they grow too old or become injured, they live a high life of retirement. There is nothing cruel about it. These horses have been carefully bred to have the ability to jump. They are fine.
@AveryWiersema12 жыл бұрын
Wow. Amazing how much you can see the Horses Muscles bulge before a Jump. Watching the Feet flick... And wow, I didn't realize they took off so early before a jump!!

why do like none of the saddles fit?
@rolandtomkellam93068 жыл бұрын
there are tons of different saddles so it's important to find the right one and it looks lime the saddle fits it just consist of how tight you want it every horse is different just like people so it depends on the horse also when you're going high speed and jumping at that height it sometimes it comes loose but most times it depends on how the rider likes it I hope I answered your question ☺
@lialacharuno307911 жыл бұрын
I could never do Hunter jumper. You must be really good to focus on form while mid-air. That's why I do show jumping. I just have to make a clean round to win. (And fast time)

Horses love jumping, they use the instinct to jump in the wild. They are bred for this purpose, the breeder making the body and stamina right for the role.

I don't want to be a ****, but you're telling us that this is 20x the framerate of the human eye, and 300 / 20 = 15. The human eye is not seeing in 15 frames per second. When playing a video in 15 fps, it will look very unsmooth, which means that the human eye can see more than 15 fps. Most people say that the human eye can see in 60 fps :)
