A rich country like England have their people swimming in, showering and drinking their own filt from taps. How a third world paradise like Jamaica not having the nation swimming, shower or drink their own filt? This is disgraceful .

It's been a growing issue in the UK for a long time. It's illegal for water companies to dump raw sewage into natural rivers except during emergencies. The problem is the water companies declare an emergency on a weekly basis and the rivers stink. Our government isn't budging because we don't have an alternative without huge spending. These changes will likely only happen in big cities and tourist destinations but the more natural places will still suffer.

Most major Cities in the developed world currently have storm sewage problems, mainly due to rapid population growth and the age of many of the sewage systems. They were built for cities that were much smaller at the time of building
