My family and I were at winter wonderland the other week. Never been to London before. We walked to harrods after the fair and bus back to marble Arch as it was raining. Took about 30 minutes as it was sooooo busy....we could have walked it quicker....love the uploads

I used to ride that bus a lot when I used to live at Peckham Rye, I remembered that we used to have the long bendy bus and thats when I got caught by bus inspector because I do not have oyster card ( I got penalty which is even harsher than paying a full bus ticket huhu) lesson learned do not be a gangster ticket runner hahaha

On every bus stop there’s a sign post with a little round sign on top with a single letter or letters, what do they stand for?

Well spotted! 😊 The letters on bus stops are map references for the public and emergency services, used particularly in busy parts of London, e.g. (RF) Oxford Circus Stn / Margaret Street 😊

Best not to look like a tourist, expensive accessories on show, , if night time, better not to go upstairs, better sit close to driver, be aware of your belongings and your surroundings but not encourage eye contact/like staring or chat with strangers. I've lived in London 50+ years, love London but like any big cities, careful pickpockets, distraction crime, last year (2121), 30 teenage fatal stabbings in London /greater London.
