London calling for Leinster and the ever-changing URC play-off picture | RTÉ Rugby podcast

Neil Treacy is joined by Jonny Holland and Johne Murphy on this week's RTÉ Rugby podcast.
The panel look back at Leinster's Investec Champions Cup semi-final win over the Northampton Saints (10:38), and how the province are shaping up ahead of the final against Toulouse later this month (15:55).
We also examine this week's Round 16 games in the BKT United Rugby Championship, and ask whether Munster can break into the top two before the play-offs (34:00), and whether Connacht can stay in the play-off race after losing JJ Hanrahan to a long-term knee injury (39:41).
With so little between those fighting for the play-offs, we also see if Ulster can solidify their spot in the top half away to the Scarlets this Saturday (47:02).
And we begin the podcast by asking Jonny how Cork Constitution's celebrations went after their AIL title success just over a week ago.

Completely agree about Furlong. Last couple of seasons he’s not been performing that well but gets praised because of what he’s done in the past. This season he’s been playing like the 2017 Furlong

Yeah I think with his dad passing away he was dealing with a lot.

The issue is that even when he's below par he's still much better than the alternatives at Leinster or Ireland.

Irish fan here. Leinster and Ireland have to stop leaving the door open when they get out in front and learn to put teams to bed. Ramos verses Byrne kicking for points; Byrne's got it in him. He just has to show up on the day!

Furlong should concentrate on his scrummaging first and foremost, anything else is a bonus. Hes not dominating scrums anymore.
