A classic I only saw in my mirror recently was a scooter rider pulling over to hatched markings in the middle of a road and I wondered what he was doing. Turns out, he planned to and did ride his scooter up the footpath on the other side of the road rather than go through two roundabouts and onto the road which I guess was by his house...

3:54 out of interest, if the system for automatically extending wing mirrors fails, are they stuck in the parked position?

If the wing mirror on the driver's side is completely missing, or hanging off, then it's illegal to drive the vehicle. Surprising how many people aren't aware of that. Years ago (when I started driving in 1967) door mirrors were considered a luxury. Not any more!

Why would anyone want to live in London, let alone drive there? It's true what they say about boiling frogs. Change it slowly enough and they won't jump out. Now they are all just trying to get by in the high temperatures of that insane traffic, where the only reasonable response to the pervading rude and inconsiderate driving is to drive rudely and inconsiderately yourself! Well at least it's free . . . I mean no one would ever have the bare faced cheek to try charging people money to use such a poorly planned maintained and regulated free-for-all as that now would they? . . .
