London Docks 1962

This film shows the London Docks as they operated before being rebuilt as offices and accomodation. It was filmed on a Bell & Howell Sundial 8mm camera and the film has been scanned using a Reflecta scanner and then post processed in Adobe Premiere Pro.

My sea career started in 1960 it was an amazing experience I loved every minute of it,I was on deck and I enjoyed the comraderie and lasting friendships,a life never to be replicated

A decade before my time at sea, 76 to 82. The writing was on the wall, saw the finish of a once brilliant way of life. An accident & medical discharge saw the finish of my working life. 😢 Been messing about on ships & boats ever since 😂
