London Edinburgh London: 1500km audax - ultra-endurance cycling - Part 2

"Part 2" showcases some of the high and low moments during my journey cycling back from Edinburgh to London.
London-Edinburgh-London is a 1500km audax ride (self-supported cycling event) between the capital cities of England and Scotland that takes place once every four years. It is not a race, but you have to make your way around within 128 hours to be counted as a finisher for the event.
#LEL2022 was an epic journey, an awesome event! There’s plenty of tales & hard earned memories to tell over many pints and coffees for years to come! Massive kudos to the organisers and volunteers at the controls who are the superstars and have made this event so inspiring and special for everyone!

Correct - the ride took place during the summer heatwave. Hence the parched landscape in England.

Amazing sunset at 19 mins. It's great seeing the same places we all rode through but at different times of day, in different light and dark. What a ride.
